Got myself a new scooter recently (well not really... is been more than 6 months if I'm not mistaken)... I've exchange the previous 'Oxelo Town 7 XL' to this futuristic looking 'Oxelo Town 7 EF'... I'm old skool therefore I'm not attracted by it's futuristic look and that's the reason why I didn't choose this model in the very first place... I much preferred the previous kick scooter which is more angular than curve... Anyway I got no choice but to change as the previous kick scooter is driving me crazy with all the creaking and squeaking!!!

Very nice grip which is ergonomic and super fast quick release for raising or lowering the handlebar... This kick scooter has a very nice trick up it's sleeve... You can fold and unfold this kick scooter in a matter of seconds.. 1-2 seconds to be exact... That's really mind boggling if you ask me...The silver lever below the quick release is the one where you pull it to drop down the kick scooter... Once you pull the lever, the kick scooter will drop down automatically and you are ready to ride it...

Just step/kick on the grey plastic near the head tube and the whole kick scooter will swing up and lock to place automatically... Phenomenal!!! Thumbs up for the designer...

There are a few reasons as to why I choose this model... One of it is the size of the wheels... 200mm which is consider one of the biggest in the world of kick scooter... Bigger wheel will roll faster hence less effort and don't need constant kicking to keep it up to speed...

Fast forward 6 months later...

I will start off with the build quality... Make no mistake that this is a beautifully made kick scooter... No creaking or squeaking from this model unlike the previous one that I owned... However not everything is top notch especially the wheels... The bearing doesn't spin as fast as the rating suggested... The bearing used are ABEC 5 which can be found on mid to higher end kick scooter... Comparing it to my 'Micro Speed +' scooter which is using the same ABEC 5 bearings, the one on the 'Micro' spins much faster and smoother...

The compound of the PU wheels are much harder hence the hard and bumpy ride where you can really feel it... After prolong usage, your hand will feel numb from the constant bumping unless you ride on ultra smooth pavement... The benefit of fitting a harder PU wheels is the wheels will definitely last much longer comparing to softer one... But for me I will opt for the latter where I can ride longer without feeling tired as the softer wheels will soak up some bumps for you...

This is a large kick scooter so handling is definitely not as agile as smaller one do... But because of the size, the scooter is ultra stable and you won't feel the nervousness when turning the handlebar... So pros and cons here... If you are looking for an agile and portable kick scooter then you will need to look elsewhere... This is not the kick scooter for you...

I will recommend this scooter to those that want easy operation and recreational use only as like I said before, prolong usage will cause numbness to your hand... I really wish they use a softer compound for the PU wheels as the ride is really harsh...

Another thing to take note is the higher ride height due to the 200mm wheels... So naturally with a higher ride height, you will need to bend your knee more in order for your other leg to kick the pavement causing fatigue to the leg standing on the kick scooter... But there is a benefit to a higher ride height as you can take the scooter to rougher surfaces without scratching the body of the scooter... But I don't recommend off road as this kick scooter is not design for it... Hmm a real dilemma here as with a higher ride height you are able to take the kick scooter to rougher surfaces but the wheels are so hard that it cause the ride to be bumpy??? Lets just stick to the smooth pavement I said...

This is my honest review for the 'Oxelo Town 7 EF'... A well designed kick scooter with good build quality... The only let down is the harsh ride causing unnecessary numbness and fatigue... You can purchase this kick scooter from Decathlon Malaysia at RM599...

Recently got myself a new scooter... This time round the scooter is not from 'Micro' as the price for a 'Micro' scooter is really exorbitant (but to be fair they are really well made)!!! So I did what I do best which is surfing the web and look for alternative...

Before this I have never heard of this brand 'Oxelo' and it seems like they made really nice scooter as well... You can get the scooter from 'Decathlon' and I believe 'Oxelo' is one of their own house brand for scooter...

Anyway long story short, I went to 'Decathlon' and test out the scooter... I like this particular models that came with dual suspension and a huge 200mm wheels... My 'Micro Speed +' scooter only came with a 145mm wheels... Bigger wheels means faster and less effort to make it go faster... Besides that, the scooter also came with a hand operator brake much like those you find on a bicycle... Much easier braking compare to leg operated one for sure... The price for this 'Oxelo town 7 XL' scooter is actually cheaper than the 'Micro Speed +' and I'm thinking to myself... With 2 huge wheels and dual suspension this looks like an absolute bargain... So I happily bought it!!!

Looks pretty... I really like the way it looks...

Front suspension... Frankly speaking I can't really feel the suspension when I tried it out... Not sure whether is this some kind of gimmick or marketing stunt...

The rear suspension... Same like the front, I can't feel it... The ride is pretty harsh if you ask me... the 'Micro' definitely ride much quieter and smoother for sure... This is something that I did not expect to be honest...
The hand operated brake which makes braking a bliss!!!

I had the scooter for around 2 weeks and I returned it back to 'Decathlon'... The one good thing about 'Decathlon' is their 90 days exchange or refund policy which makes buying things from them a really no-brainer!!!

So why do I returned it when I love it so much... I can accept the flaw that the dual suspension have which is not soaking up any bumps and feels almost like riding rigid!!! The one thing that I cannot accept is the sound the scooter is making... A lot of creaking noise coming out from the joint... I tried tightening the quick release to the point that I believe I might break the whole thing and loosening it up to the point where the quick release is not clamping on it properly... I tried everything but to no avail... Reluctantly I took it back to them and wanted to ask for a refund and thinking of getting a 'Micro' just to be on the save side... Instead of getting a refund, I got myself another 'Oxelo' scooter and this is a story for another time... And before I end my blog post I really like to give 'Decathlon' a BIG thumbs up!!! Please go to 'Decathlon' retail outlets to experience it yourself... They have a lot of demo units around for consumers to try out before deciding whether to purchase or not... Currently they have 2 outlets, one in 'Sri Damansara' and another one is at 'USJ 1'... Mind you this is not a sponsored post... Just speaking from my own experience...

I found out that when one gets older, even breathing will makes you fat!!! And this is something that I must accept!!! I'm getting fatter!!! So I believe is time for me to get fit again... Hopefully I can go the full mile this time instead of stopping halfway...

Recently I've been restoring my trusty mountain bike and I'm getting back on the bike in order to lose some weight... Been restoring the bike for close to a month now... Stripping all the parts and give it a good clean... In the process I'm ditching the front and rear derailleur and I'm going the single speed route... I've been toying with this idea for some time and finally decided to give it a try... There are a few reason for doing this namely less maintenance and lighter weight...

Fast forward a month later, I decided to fix back the rear derailleur as I'm not physically fit enough to keep going after 15 minutes max!!! One of the reason is because I lived on mountain!!! Just joking on the mountain part... Just that the place I lived in is rather hilly and is impossible to find a long stretch of flat road for me to cycle on...

So now I'm running it with a single chain ring in front but with gears at the rear... For me this is my kind of setup as I manage to trim off some weight and in the meantime makes the cockpit look neater with less cable cluster... Been trying it out for quite some time and I'm really liking it...

Every year without fail I will pay 'Pavillion' a visit during 'Christmas' season as I find they have the best decoration among all the malls in 'Klang Valley'... So is definitely worth paying them a visit... And this year there is no exception and we were not disappointed!!! It was super duper crowded with loads of people taking pictures and this is also the very same reason that we went there... Taking pictures!!! So hope you enjoy all the pictures below...

I don't like the norm... If a lot of people like one particular thing, chances of me hating it is bloody high!!! I like to be unique and I don't like my things to stay original for long especially for car, computer or gadget related item... I like to mix things around and you can see from my car and my computers as well as my mobile phone... All these items had been tinkered with...

My 'FrankenBenz' originally German but I've decided to throw in a Japanese heart!!! My old 'Galaxy Nexus' running all kinds of custom ROMS and the latest one with 'MIUI'... My desktop computer running 'Mac OSX' permanently... And the latest thing that my itchy hand laid on is my trusty old 'IBM Thinkpad' and 'HP Mini'... Both antique and really a pain in the ass with 'Microsoft Windows' in it... Extremely slow and unresponsive!!! In fact I stopped using them at all and they just sit there collecting dust!!!

Thanks to the Internet, I decided to try 'Linux'... 'Ubuntu' is the first that I tried... Really lovely... Interface is really pretty and easy to use... But too bad the requirement is rather high... My 'HP Mini' is running fine but is just too laggy!!! Do some research and decided to give 'Lubuntu' and 'Xubuntu' a try... Both design to run on low spec machine as the 'OS' is pretty light... Tried 'Lubuntu" first as is the lightest among all 'buntu' and I'm really impressed!!! Lighting fast compared to 'Windows'... The only downside is the 'OS' is too barebone for my liking... So after one week of trying decided to give 'Xubuntu' a try as it is somewhere in the middle... Pretty light but not too bare... And you know what??? I love it!!! Definitely not as fast as 'Lubuntu' but it is so much nicer so I'm going to stick with it until I find something to replace it...

So goodbye 'Windows'... You served me well over the years but too bad our relationship is short term as I found something much better to replace you!!!

Yippee... Got my 'XiaoMi Mi3' this past Monday and I'm really excited!!! If you follow my 'Instagram' you would probably know that I've installed 'MIUI V5' on my 'Galaxy Nexus'... I'm really impress with 'MIUI' as it basically change the feel of 'Android'!!! I personally like it a lot as it looks a lot like 'iOS'...

Actually I didn't plan to buy this phone as I think it is impossible to get... Always sold out within minutes!!! So the  queen ask whether I want this phone as currently 'XiaoMi' is doing promotion and 'Mi3' now cost RM769 only... My first reaction was "sure cannot get one la"... But you can try anyway...

Guess she's lucky that day as she managed to get me one!!! Really damn excited... I've been playing with the phone these past few days and I'm really impress with the built quality... In my opinion, it can put a lot of more expensive phones to shame with its built quality and material used... Yes 'Samsung' I'm talking about you... Over price and plasticky!!! My princess plastic toy phone looks and feels more solid than your so call phone (please don't bash me on this remark Samsung fanboys as I'm speaking the truth and I'm sure you know it!!!)...

I'm thinking to myself... Surely there is something wrong with this phone as the pricing is really cheap for such a phone... Top of the spec hardware but with low range pricing, surely there is something that is not up to spec... But after a few days of using, I can't find it... If you ask, the only thing that I can think of is the lack of LTE...

Another good thing about this phone is the WOW factor when you whip the phone out from your pocket!!! The normal reaction that I get when people sees me using this phone is "wow XiaoMi"!!! Let me have a look... Second reaction is "wow you manage to get"...

So this is a highly recommended 'Android' base phone provided you manage to get it... Will update on the camera once I try it out... Tested a few pics and I'm quite impress with it... Definitely much better than my 'Galaxy Nexus'!!! I'm selling off my 'Galaxy Nexus' running 'MIUI V5'... Any takers???

Woohoo... Finally succeeded in turning my desktop 'PC' to a working 'Mac Pro'!!! So in the process of learning how to use 'Mac OS X'... I always wanted to turn my 'Windows PC' to run on 'Mac OS X'... Don't know why but I guess is down to my personality to hack/modified things... 'PC' included... If you can buy it then it is not that special... Build it is my motto... Build the damn 'PC' myself and hack it with 'Mac OS X'... Priceless... Everything is running fine except my soundcard which need some tweaking... Other than that, everything runs fine... I can even play 'Diablo III' with it... Not bad...

Will take some pics of it in my next post... So stay tune...

I'm very sure by now almost all 'Malaysian' have heard of 'Johor Premium Outlet' or better know as 'JPO' as this is the country first ever premium factory outlet store... These kind of shopping is very common in oversea and why 'Malaysia' doesn't have one all these while is beyond me...

I really enjoyed shopping at these places as you can buy branded goods at a much cheaper price... But quite frankly I'm a bit disappointed with our version of premium outlet as the selection is pretty limited (but still better than nothing!!!)... Although limited in selection, we still managed to get ourselves something!!!

Ok so will I go again??? I guess the answer is a yes if I'm quite free and got nothing better to do... Will probably bring 'Mikayla' along when she's older!!!

Recently I'm really busy with my princess that I hardly have the time to blog!!! She alone occupied most of my time including my personal time where I use it for browsing the net or updating my blog... Sometimes I don't even have the time to switch on my desktop computer!!! Luckily I still have my 'iPad 2' where I can just on it in a second and have a quick browse...

I got myself a Bluetooth keyboard a couple of months ago and till know I only have the time to really put it to the test... I'm actually writing this blog post using it... The keyboard that I got myself is call 'Zagg' and it is by 'Logitech' which is fame for it's computer accessories such as mouse and keyboard... What I really like about this 'Zagg' keyboard is the use of aluminium just like the 'iPad'... So it won't look out of place when the 'iPad' is being use together with it... Although the keyboard is quite small, it is surprisingly easy to use and I seldom hit the wrong key... Definitely better when compare to the virtual keyboard on the 'iPad'!!!

OK that's about it I guess... Just a short review on the 'Zagg' keyboard and this item is highly recommended by me if you type a lot using your 'iPad'... If not, you can basically forget about it... Two thumbs up from me!!!

Finally I've completed the collection!!! Why am I so excited about it??? True I'm a BIG 'Lego' fans but this is not the reason why I'm so happy that I've finally completed the collection... The reason is because I don't have to pump 'Shell' petrol anymore!!!

Some people might say that all petrol are equal but the truth is, it is not!!! I don't pump 'RON97' so I can't comment on it but if you ask me about 'RON95', I can tell you that 'Shell' is the worse!!! It is so much inferior compare to others especially 'BHP' (i'm not getting paid on promoting 'BHP' petrol!!! i speak from experience)... Whenever I pump 'Shell RON95', my car felt under-power even with a 2.5L twin turbo engine up front!!! And I don't get the extra mileage that they claim as well... The whole car refuse to rev and the auto box is so reluctant to down shift... Really bad fuel if you ask me... If you're driving a performance car, please stay away from it!!!

So let me tell you which is the best petrol out there currently... The first goes to 'BHP'... Excellent power even using RON95... No other petrol brand come close!!! The next is 'Mobil/Esso/Petron' follow by 'Caltex' and 'Petronas'... And coming at a distance last is 'Shell' which used to be my favourite petrol... So sad to see a great brand producing such crappy petrol!!!

Yay my desktop computer revive from the dead!!! No more staring at a puny little screen while trying to edit my pictures!!! This is my third desktop computer to date... The first and second one is a complete unit while this latest one is not... I just changed what is necessary as my wallet doesn't allow me to go bonkers on the spec let alone a full system...

My first system is using 'Intel' while my second one uses 'AMD'... For my new system, I wanted to use back 'AMD' (as I'm a 'AMD' supporter!!!) instead of 'Intel' but I've got no choice as I'm planning to do 'Hackintosh' (installing OS X Mountain Lion on my desktop) and unfortunately 'AMD' processor is not supported!!!

Intel latest 'Ivy Bridge' processor... 'i5 3570K'... Wanted to get the 'i7' but it is too bloody expensive!!! Not really going to overclock it but still I get the 'K' version as the price difference is not huge...

'ASRock Z77 Extreme 4' is my choice when it comes to motherboard... I buy this motherboard because it looks awesome!!! It is really beautiful in my opinion...

I've always like 'Corsair' so no surprise here... Got myself four of these (16GB)... So no more shortage of rams!!! My previous desktop only have 2GB of rams!!!

Frankly speaking, I don't really need a new hard drive!!! But everyone's telling me that 'SSD' is super duper fast and it really got me curious!!! Bought 120GB one as 240GB is way too expensive!!! Again 'Corsair' for me... And that's about it... I'm using back my old 'XFX HD4830' graphic card and my really old 'Lian Li PC7' casing!!!

The first time my computer boot, I'm really ecstatic and it was fast!!! Way faster than what I've expected!!! Or maybe I'm just too use to my old desktop that runs like a slug??? Anyway, I'm really happy with my purchase as everything is so much smoother and faster compare to before!!!

Damn my desktop computer is officially dead!!! Recently I'm having a hard time trying to switch it on... But it seems like it decided t...

Damn my desktop computer is officially dead!!! Recently I'm having a hard time trying to switch it on... But it seems like it decided to die on me... I believe the power supply is faulty and hopefully I'm right as it is cheap to get it replace... If the problem lies somewhere else, I guess is time for me to upgrade as my desktop is pretty darn old... At least 5-6 years if my memory serves me right...

Hmm thinking about it, I don't really need a new computer as I still have my trusty 'IBM Thinkpad' laptop which should be in the museum by now and not forgetting my newer but super slow 'HP Netbook'!!! Both are not really ideal for photo editing purposes but I guess I don't have a choice right now!!! I've tried editing pics with the netbook and surprisingly it is able to cope with it!!! No crashes just that the screen is super small and it is pretty laggy!!! Other than that, I've got no complaint!!!

Still need to get my desktop fix as there are a lot of pics in it... Wanted to post about my darling's experience on giving birth but all the pics are in the hard drive and I can't get access to it!!! Now, 'Apple Macbook Pro' look so tempting but can't really splurge on it as my wallet is in a pretty bad shape now!!! Haiz...

Finally I've upgraded my 'Galaxy Nexus' to 'Jelly Bean' which is the latest 'Android' software to date... Actually I don't plan to do the upgrade as I find it really troublesome as I need to reorganize and customize the whole phone to my liking all over again!!!

So why do the upgrading??? Cause I was forced to!!! My previous 'Gummy Ice Cream Sandwich' ROM decided to crash after updating the 'Apex Launcher' hence making my phone useless as I can't access to anything!!!

Restore it to original 'Ice Cream Sandwich' ROM and I find it really boring and lacking customization...

My phone is currently running version 4.1.1 instead of 4.1... Which means that the version I have is one of the newest... After running the custom 'AOKP Jelly Bean' ROM for a few days, I found that the ROM is not as good as my previous 'Gummy ICS' ROM... My phone is more prone to lagging and the reception is not really stable... If you crank the brightness of your screen to the half way mark, the rate of the battery drain is just staggering!!! As for the battery drain, it can be solve easily by turning the brightness down a few notches but the lagging part is really bothering me!!! Will test out the new ROM for a few days more and decide whether to stick with it or flash it to other ROM...

I used to be an 'Apple' fan boy!!! The moment I lay my hands on the first 'iPhone', there is basically no turning back for me... I'm hooked!!! Frankly speaking, 'Apple' single-handedly change the way we look at mobile phones and this is something I'm very sure of... But after using it for around 4 years, I'm kinda sick of it because there is nothing much for you to do with it... My main gripe is the operating system... True, it is super duper easy to use but there are also a lot of limitation!!! No widgets!!! Widget is something very important to me as it makes the interface much nicer and not forgetting easier to use (this is something that I really like about 'Android')... Now come the sixth iteration of the world famous mobile phone... So does it tempt me to jump back to 'iOS' camp again??? Frankly speaking, the answer is a bloody BIG no!!!

Look at it, what do you see??? Nothing cause it look exactly like an 'iPhone 4 or 4S albeit a wee bit longer only... We need something revolutionary as we are really bored with this outlook... Imagine looking at it for 3 generations!!! No doubt it does look solid and not forgetting premium (as with all 'Apple' products) comparing to 'Android' counterparts... Still it looks old to my eyes... If this is a new design with at least a 4.5" and above screen size, then it might be a different story altogether...

No doubt my 'Galaxy Nexus' looks cheap compare to 'iPhone' with it's all plastic construction!!! What I really like about the 'Galaxy Nexus' is the buttonless front screen!!! I hate physical button and this is the main reason I choose 'Galaxy Nexus' over other 'Android' phone in the market...

I'm very glad that I made the decision to abandon 'iOS' and turn myself to the darkside... It might be lag sometimes but this is something that I can accept as 'Android' is really much more powerful when comparing with 'iOS'... I no longer looking forward to any 'iPhone' launches from now on!!! Sad but true...

I've been running 'Gummy' custom 'Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS)' ROM for a while and it has been great!!! But the urge to move on is really unbearable!!! I've been thinking of upgrading my ROM to the newest 'Jelly Bean' which is of course custom as well (not going to run the official 'Jelly Bean' ROM)!!! The only thing holding me back is the trouble and not forgetting stability of the new ROM...

Don't want my phone to encounter any problem and causes it to malfunction... I've tested 'Jelly Bean' on my friend 'Galaxy SII' and it is superb!!! No lag and buttery smooth... Besides that, there are a few upgrade that are worth upgrading for... Tempting!!! Very tempting... Guess I will put this on hold first till I decide which custom ROM to upgrade to!!! Will do some survey on which is the best Jelly Bean ROM out there now!!! Till then...

I will be adding another new category to my blog real soon!!! Believe me, this will be the 'BEST' category as far as I'm concer...

Recently I found one of the BEST photo editing software and is call 'pixlr-o-matic'!!! I may be outdated but is better late than never as I know this software has been introduce quite some time ago... What I really like about this software is the accessibility of it... I run this software from my 'iPad 2', 'Galaxy Nexus' and also my desktop computer!!! Three very different platform but with the same satisfying result!!!

As for photo editing tool, I believe 'pixlr-o-matic' is also one of the best out there!!! Lots of things and effect for you to edit and you know what, I stop using 'Photoshop' nowadays and my 'DSLR' is sleeping soundly in the drybox... Now I just use my 'Galaxy Nexus' to take pics and edit it using 'pixlr-o-matic' which is so much easier to do... Guess is time for me to pamper my 'DSLR'!!!

So I've made up my mind on which 'Android' phone to get!!! Introducing the 'Samsung Galaxy Nexus'!!! I know it don...

So I've made up my mind on which 'Android' phone to get!!! Introducing the 'Samsung Galaxy Nexus'!!! I know it don't need any introduction as this phone was launched almost 6 months ago!!! So why do I get an old phone instead of the latest around as the price is almost similar... The reason is very simple... Is a 'Nexus'!!! The only 'Google' phone selling on the market now...

There are a few things that I really like about this phone... Firstly, the lack of physical or capacitive button on the screen!!! Currently the only phone in the market that have this or lack of it!!!

Second thing that I like about this phone is the 'Google' branding on the back of the phone...

Definitely not the best 'Android' phone in the market if spec is what you care about as more and more quad core 'Android' phones are being released... But definitely one of the best experience around as this phone is running the vanilla version of 'Ice Cream Sandwich' operating system...

After trying out the quad core 'HTC One X', I don't really see the difference in terms of speed on daily usage... If you're a hardcore gamer, then it might be better for you to get the 'One X' or the new 'Galaxy SIII'...

The third and last thing that I really like about the 'Nexus' is update!!! This is the phone that will be updated when there's a new version of 'Android' operating system around... Currently I'm running on version 4.02 as this is the latest official OTA update available... Version 4.04 is available but I will need to root and flash it... Not going to do it at this moment as I'm still getting use to 'Android' after so many years of using 'iOS'... And you know what, I'm not missing 'iOS' a single bit!!!

'Google' branding when you start the phone!!! Nice... I'm loving every single second with it and it definitely made my life so much easier!!!
