Do you know which is the most FUCKED UP car service centre in 'Kuala Lumpur' and 'Selangor'??? Don't worry as I got the answer!!! Please don't be surprise if I tell you that it is not 'Proton' although the company starts with the letter 'P' as well... Yup that's right is 'Peugeot's' service centre (not all 'Peugeot' service centre!!!)...

This time I will be more specified about the name of the service centre... It is 'Kheng Soon Service Sdn Bhd' located at 'Jalan Chan Sow Lin'... There is valid reason for me to criticize this particular service centre... If you read my previous blog post regarding my '308 Turbo', I'm very sure you know that I'm facing some problems with parts availability... Well the good news is the part that I'm waiting for have arrived (panoramic roof blind)... Yesterday, one of the service advisor from this shitty service centre called me and informed me that the part that I'm waiting for had arrived and I can go over to their place this morning in order to get it fix... So both of us are damn happy because without the blind, we are basically sun tanning in the car and not forgetting looking like a complete idiot driving without the blind in our 'Malaysian' weather...

So I reached there around 10.00am and happily greet one of the service advisor... But the word that came out from his mouth shocked me!!! He said I didn't have any appointment with them and I was told to go home instead!!! I was like WTF is going on here... You guys asked me to drop by this morning but suddenly you told me that I wasn't supposed to be there... Frankly speaking, I wanted to kick myself in the butt because I forgot to ask who am I talking to yesterday!!! If I got his name, I'm very sure I can screwed him 'kao kao'!!!

This is not the first time these things happen... In fact a few months ago, my '308 Turbo' decided to have a flat battery (this is the second time)... As I usually service my car at this bloody service centre, the first place I called to will be them... They told me that they have existing stock and I can sent my car over... So I arranged for a tow truck and before we starts our journey, I called them again to double confirm and this time they told me that they DON'T have any stock on hand... This happened on a Saturday and they are working half day... And to make matter worse, the tow truck reached our place around 11 something and they are closing at 12 something... So I got no choice but to call 'Glenmarie' service centre... Luckily they allow us to drop our car and they are willing to wait for us... So do you know why I'm so pissed off at them??? Because I got screwed not once but twice by the very same service centre call 'Kheng Soon'...

Moral of the story is, please know who you are talking to when dealing with scums like these because they are damn good 'Tai Chi' player... They just push everything off like this didn't even happen!!!

Two weeks ago, I had the privileged to test drive one of the latest car from 'Lotus'... The 'Evora IPS'... 'Lotus'...

Two weeks ago, I had the privileged to test drive one of the latest car from 'Lotus'... The 'Evora IPS'... 'Lotus' is a company that specializes in light weight sports and GT car which emphasize more in handling and balance rather than outright performance... If you are power hungry, you can basically forget about 'Lotus' because most of their car is not really that powerful...

So what does 'IPS' stands for??? 'IPS' stands for 'Intelligent Precision Shift' which in layman terms, automatic gearbox!!! This is the only 'Evora' that comes with an automatic gearbox... All the other variants comes with a manual gearbox including the more powerful 'S' model that comes with a supercharger to boost up the horsepower and torque... Essentially the 'IPS' model is the same as the lower model that comes equip with manual gearbox...

If looks is what you are after, I'm very sure that the 'Evora' will stir things up a bit... Not the prettiest but definitely able to turn a few heads... For me, 'Exige' looks much better!!! The 'Evora' looks more grown up and more suitable for mature people...

Only 'Evora' lettering... 'IPS' no where to be seen...

L     O     T     U     S

Centrally mounted twin exhaust that looks menacing but fails to deliver!!! The engine sound is muted to a sense that it sounds just like any sedan you found on our roads... Really disappointed with these pipes!!! If I own this 'Evora', the first thing that I'm going to change is definitely the exhaust...

Currently, 'Lotus' uses 'Toyota' engine in all their cars so obviously the same goes for the 'Evora'... The 'Evora IPS' uses a 3.5 liter naturally aspirated engine from the 'Toyota Camry'... Power is rated at 276bhp and torque at 350Nm... Coincidentally, the rated power is the same as my 'FrankenBenz' equip 'Toyota 1JZ-GTE' engine!!! 276bhp with a slightly higher torque at 363Nm...

Unfortunately, the 'Evora' is much faster in terms of acceleration because of the weight difference between my 'FrankenBenz' and the 'Evora'... The weight of the 'Evora' is around 1382kg whereas my 'FrankenBenz' weights in at around 1890kg!!! That's more than 500kg difference!!! So my 'FrankenBenz' will definitely won't be able to outrun an 'Evora' in a sprint competition!!!

The 'Evora' uses a four pot caliper setup on the front and rear which is more than capable of stopping the car thanks to the light weight design of the car... So now you know why racing cars strip out all the unnecessary things that will add in more weight to the car... The lighter the car, the better it will perform!!! This theory doesn't applies to acceleration and stopping of the car... It affects the handling as well... A lighter car will definitely out handle a much heavier car!!!

 Forged alloy!!! Stronger yet lighter!!!

Very nice interior but fit and finish can be improve... At this price range, the fit and finish is not up to par in my opinion... The 'Evora' is basically a 2 seater although it is actually a 2 + 2 seater... The reason for this is because the rear seat is a joke!!! Normally I like to call these seat as 'DOG seat' but the rear seat of the 'Evora' is not even eligible for the title!!! Even children won't be able to get comfortable in... Credits to my darling as she manage to squeeze herself in!!!

How I wish this key belongs to me!!!

So how does this thing goes??? Here's some of my thoughts after driving it... The acceleration is definitely much better compare to my 'FrankenBenz'... You can really feels the G force when you are accelerating!!! But I believe the 'Evora' won't be able to outrun an 'E36 BMW' with '1JZ-GTE' up front because the weight difference is not significant...

For me, a 'Lotus' car is not about outright speed or how many seconds it will take to hit 100km/h (if you need to know, around 5.2 seconds to 100km/h)... It is the handling that is important... People buy 'Lotus' because of its ability to out handle almost every car on the road... I'm really impress with the handling of the 'Evora IPS'... Although this is a sports GT, the ride is almost limousine like!!! The suspension is taut but definitely not hard and the ride is magic carpet smooth!!! Virtually no roll at all when you attack the corner... I really can't explain how they manage to do this... Normally if you want to eliminate roll, you need to compromise on ride comfort... The car will be hard and bouncing everywhere... If you want comfort, the car will roll when you attack a corner and the ride will definitely be boat like!!! How on earth they manage to do this is beyond me!!! Besides that, the car feels really direct and the steering is really slack free... Turn the steering 1mm and the wheels will follow exactly!!! Car is very neutral without the feeling of understeer or oversteer... Or maybe I didn't push the car hard enough??? So now you know why 'Proton' cars handle so well!!!

Surprisingly, the automatic gearbox does not hamper the performance... The shift is not the fastest but it is definitely fuss free and the +/- paddle is a joy to use... In full auto mode, the car drives just like any other auto car... What I really like about the 'Evora IPS' is when you are using the paddle for gear changing, it will not change gear for you even when you hit the rev limiter... This is what I like on an auto car with manual override...

Once you are gunning for it, the engine note turns up a notch and this is a much welcome thing if you ask me... Too quiet during idling!!! The power delivery is typical naturally aspirated with the powerband at a much higher RPM... But with 350Nm, the 'Evora IPS' is rather happy to cruise along even at 2,000 RPM... You don't have to change down a gear if you don't wish to as the amount of torque is able to propel the car forward... For me, change down is a must when you are in the mood as the engine note intensified and the car lunges forward with much more enthusiasm...

Overall I'm really happy to be able to test drive the car... But I really wish to take it up 'Genting' in order to fully appreciate the handling of the car... Thanks to my uncle for making my dream comes true!!!

I pride myself to be a very loyal person... This does not only applies to those I love but things as well... If I like the particular brand...

I pride myself to be a very loyal person... This does not only applies to those I love but things as well... If I like the particular brand, I will stick to it... I will not change even when the products are inferior compare to others found on the market... Besides that, I will try to defend it if someone tries to talk bad about it... That's how far I will go when I'm in love with the brand!!!

Take 'Sony' for example... I like the brand a lot... So you can see that I'm using their DSLR... Same goes for my LCD TV and some other appliances... So those brand that I love, you are in luck!!! But there are times that I dislike the brand and this is really bad because once I dislike the brand, that's it... That's the end of our relationship... I'm those love it or hate it kind of guy... Seldom in between...

So looking at the title, I'm very sure you know what this blog post is all about... Yeap that's right... I'm boycotting a particular brand... Wanna know which brand and thing that I'm talking about??? It is non other than our beloved 'Pug'... I'm really sick of it... Please don't get me wrong... It is an awesome car but those in-charge of bringing in the car is the one to blame... If you follow my blog, you will know that our '308 Turbo' is giving us lots of problems (universally known that 308 Turbo have lots of problems)... The latest one is the canvas that cover the panoramic roof decides to play hide and seek with us... Disappearing for no reason... Ask the service center and they said the canvas 'koyak'!!! WTH...

Problems are frustrating but you know what beats it??? When there is no replacement parts in Malaysia!!! When there is something wrong with my 'Pug', the only thing that I hear coming out from the service center is "need to diagnose it first"... Ok, no problem with that... The next thing they said will be need to change certain part... Again no problem with that... The following thing that they said is the one I hated most... "No parts... Need to order from France and the waiting time will be no less than 3 weeks!!!"...

If you ask me, it just don't make any business sense... 'Nasim' which is a subsidiary of 'Naza' is selling 'Peugeot' like hot cakes now but what about after sales service??? None if you ask me... Everything also need to wait... I'm very sure they know about the common problems found on the 308 Turbo but why can't they just bring in some spare parts just in case??? Always asking the customers to wait is a BIG no no if you ask me and I know a lot of people are getting frustrated with 'Peugeot' now and 'Nasim' you better do something about it before you lose all your existing and potential customers... And you know what, if someone ask me whether is it wise to buy 'Peugeot', I will ask them to look away in order to avoid any hassle in the near future...

After using the 'Peugeot' for 2 years, I'm on the verge of giving up on the car... Again not because of the problems that it makes but the people in- charge of bringing in the cars that are to blame... Shame on you 'Nasim'...

p.s. I'm still waiting for my fucking turbocharger to arrive!!!

Recently I'm really frustrated with my cars... Both throwing tantrums at the very same time... I won't talk about FrankenBenz in this particular blog post... So obviously I'm going to concentrate on the 'Pug'... Quite frankly, the 'Pug' is really getting on my nerves and is driving me crazy!!! No doubt it is a very good car when you look at the asking price and the equipments thrown in... Besides that, there is nothing to complaint about the joy of driving it either... So what is driving me up the wall???
Three words!!! These three words is the root cause for all the trouble that we have been through and not forgetting about all the sleepless night (okok I'm exaggerating a little bit)... 'DEPOLLUTION SYSTEM FAULTY'... Isn't it good that the car tell us what is wrong with it??? It is really good in my opinion but please be specified 'Peugeot' because according to the service centre, those three words can mean a lot of things... It does not pin point to the exact problem...
I've sent my car to three different service center and three of them came out with different error code... One of them said it is because of vacuum hose... Another said there is problem with the turbo solenoid valve, turbo and timing chain!!! Can you believe it, timing chain??? Don't really make sense to me... Why I don't think the problem lies with the timing chain is because the car feels under power... This only happens when you drive the car for around 10-20 minutes... I suspect the main culprit is the turbine because you know it is not boosting... I can't even hear the dump valve/blowoff valve... Besides that, I can see that the turbo is leaking oil...
Last week I decided to sent my car to 'Glenmarie Blue Box' for second opinion after the dealer told me that the main problem lies with the timing chain... Before that, they told me they suspected turbo failure as well but need to do some further diagnosis to confirm... After that they said is because of timing chain... My darling's colleague also encounter the same error message and he sent the car to the same dealer that we went... And guess what, they told him exactly the same thing as they told us... Timing chain problem... I'm not buying it... Ok back to 'Glenmarie Blue Box'... After diagnosis they said the problem lies with the turbine and they need more time to take out the whole turbine before they can confirm it... So my darling is going to be carless next week as the car is schedule to admit next week (I'm carless this week!!!)... I'm really keeping my finger cross and hopefully they can settle our problem once and for all!!!

I don't know when it really started but it seems that I'm really falling in love with 'classic' cars!!! I guessed it started...

I don't know when it really started but it seems that I'm really falling in love with 'classic' cars!!! I guessed it started when I decided to start on 'Project FrankenBenz'... There are a few classic cars that I'm really fond of before I even started my 'FrankenBenz' project... This particular car will get my blood pumping and even making my knees weak if I have the chance to see one on the streets of Malaysia... But I guess chances are pretty slim... If you watched 'Fast Five', I'm very sure you know which car I'm talking about...

The KPGC-10 or better known as 'Hakosuka'!!! One of the nicest 'Skyline GTR' if you ask me... Sex on wheel...

If you let me choose between the 'Hakosuka' and all the other 'Nissan Skyline GTR', the 'Hakosuka' will definitely be my pick!!! I know it won't out run all the other 'GTR' but there is something with the design that got me tingling!!!

I'm having headache for these pass few weeks all thanks to our beloved cars... 'FrankenBenz' and 'Puggy' are giving me lots of problems recently... First was 'Puggy' which decided to have a flat battery again... After that, 'FrankenBenz' decided to throw tantrums and causes lots of headache for me... Temperature and gearbox are the main problem... And yesterday, 'Puggy' decided to throw something BIG at me... I was driving the car and suddenly I felt that the car lost a lot of power and simultaneously an error code came out... 'Depollution System Failure'... WTF was that??? So we decided to stop the car and took out the service manual and started searching for the error code... But we can't find anything and I decided to call 'Peugeot Service Care Line' and they told us that we should send the car in for a computerize diagnosis... So we got no choice but to send it in today... Seems like the turbine solenoid valve was the culprit... No wonder the car lost a lot of power... Now we are still waiting for the parts and it will only be available in a few days time so we got no choice but to drive the car in limp mode... As for 'FrankenBenz', overheating and gearbox problems still exist... Still can't determine the exact culprit for the time being!!! Problems, problems, problems!!!

Not again!!! Another battery problem it seems... The first time it happened when the car clock around 20,000++ km... Now the car mileage is...

Not again!!! Another battery problem it seems... The first time it happened when the car clock around 20,000++ km... Now the car mileage is around 60,000++ km and the battery is having problem again... This is the first time in my motoring life that I've encounter something like this... All my previous car have not been tow before... Not even once... But the 'Peugeot 308 Turbo' has been tow twice... Please I don't wish for a hat trick!!!
I'm really confuse to why can't the battery last a little bit longer??? I ask the technician from 'Peugeot' and they told me that the car have a lot of electronics, so obviously it consume a lot of battery... A modern 'BMW' or 'Mercedes Benz' have a lot of electronics too... But why their battery can last much longer compare to the 'Peugeot'??? My previous car battery last a staggering three years while the 'Peugeot' one last less than a year!!! We own the car for one year plus and this is the third batteries including the one that came with the car...
Those of you who drive the same car, please make sure that you ask the service advisor to get your battery check before your car reaches one year old because the warranty coverage for battery is only one year according to 'Peugeot'... I'm keeping my finger cross and hopefully this new battery can last at least a year!!!
p.s. Although I'm really frustrated with it, I'm still very much in love with our 'Pug'!!!

Guess I'm getting old nowadays... I totally forgot about it!!! Actually the brake pad change is before I change the tyres for the '308 Turbo'... It cost me RM5xx just for the front brake pad... In my opinion, I think that the price is a bit steep because these are OEM brake pad and not performance brake pad!!! But frankly speaking, the performance is rather good because after repeated high speed stop, I can't feel any brake fade at all...

The '308 Turbo' came equipped with 'Bosch' brake pad while the replacement one is OEM for 'Peugeot/Citroen'... Kind of weird because I though the car should come equip with OEM one instead of 'Bosch'??? But this is a small problem because the performance level of both brake pad are rather similar... Just praying that the OEM one will last a little longer than the 'Bosch'!!! Or maybe I should just change my driving style???

To be honest I'm quite amaze at the 'Toyota Vios'... I have never really driven one for a prolong period until yesterday and I found that I'm in a love hate situation here... Driving the 'Vios' in isolation, it is a great car but this can't be said if you compare it to some other cars out there... But what impresses me is how frugal it is... I can't believe it because given the performance, I'm expecting the fuel consumption to be far worse... Don't get me wrong here about the performance of the 'Vios'... It is not supercar or performance car quick... Far from it in fact... But if you compare it to those in the same category, it is quite a performer...

The car is nippy and the engine is rev happy like there is no inertia... I believe this is because of the weight of the car or the lack of it... It weight like a feather next to the '308 Turbo' and not to mention my due to be out from the workshop, 'FrankenBenz'!!! I manage to use only one full tank of fuel for my KL - Johor - KL trip with some mix driving... Some town driving plus some pedal to the metal driving... This can't be achieve by the '308 Turbo'... In my opinion, no other car can have this kind of performance plus the frugality other than a hybrid or a diesel... I'm really impress...

So want to know what makes me hate this car??? If you have driven a new 'Vios', I'm very sure most of you will agree with me on this... This problem is so stupid that I find it hard to believe that 'Toyota' is capable of making it!!! The wiper system don't have a 'INTERMITTENT' function!!! I was driving yesterday and it started to drizzle and believe me on this, I nearly got my hand cramp because of the stupid wiper system... In order to wipe the windscreen intermittently on a 'Vios', you need to rely on your hand or finger... Come on 'Toyota'... The cheapest car in Malaysia have it and why can't a 'TOYOTA VIOS' have it??? Please don't tell me about cost saving because the whole car is already made from plastic... So any engineers working in 'Toyota' kind to elaborate on this???

p.s. - Thanks for lending me your car... You know who you are!!! ;)

I'm those who likes to try new things... So this applies to car tyres as well... I must admit that the tyres that came with the '3...

I'm those who likes to try new things... So this applies to car tyres as well... I must admit that the tyres that came with the '308 Turbo' is just plain awesome (this is the first time that I decided not to change to other brand when I'm changing new tyres for my car...) The 'Continental Sport Contact 3' is so good that even 'Porsche' is using it for its car... So do you think that it is an overkill to use it on the '308 Turbo' with it's puny little engine??? Frankly speaking, I don't think so...

But there is one major problem with this tyres... It is so goddamn freaking expensive!!! (so I'm force to change to another brand!!!) Do you know how much does it cost for a 'Continental Sport Contact 3' with the tyre size of 225/45 R17??? A mind boggling RM8xx plus plus!!!

So here comes the savior... 'Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalin'... I heard a lot of good reviews regarding this tyres and the price is much more affordable compare to the 'Continental Sport Contact 3'... So automatically this is the obvious choice... Actually I'm thinking between this tyres and the 'Yokohama Advan Neovo AD08' but too bad they don't have stock for the 'Yokohama'... In fact, I like the tyre thread on the 'Bridgestone more than the 'Continental'... It looks much more aggressive to me... Looks like a proper sports tyre unlike the 'Continental' that looks so docile... Will update on the tyre once I crank up some miles with it and by the way this tyre cost me RM5xx plus plus for a piece, which is still very expensive to me!!!

Is been a long time since I last updated on my darling's beloved feline or 'Pug'... The car is with us for more than a year now...

Is been a long time since I last updated on my darling's beloved feline or 'Pug'... The car is with us for more than a year now and everything is great except some minor niggles here and there... The first problem that we encounter is a very small problem... The problem is the autolock function somehow got disable and it just refuse to autolock...

The second problem is something of a shock to me as this problem usually occurs to high mileage vehicles but we got it before the odometer manage to clock in 10,000km!!! Guess we are really unlucky... The problem is with the wheel bearing... But luckily the car is still under warranty and the service center happily change it for me... Free of course and I left a happy man once again!!!

After that, we encounter another problem... A flat battery on a car clocking only around 20,000km ++... This is something new to me as well because through out my driving days, I've yet to encounter problem such as this because normally battery can last at least a year before they started giving up on you... But from what I know, this is a very common problem with the 'Peugeot 308'... So potential owner take note on this... Before your car hit 20,000km, get your car diagnose by Peugeot service center as the warranty for battery is only 20,000km only... Meaning they won't replace for free and after that you are on your own and the original battery is very costly to replace...

Few months ago, I found out that the car lacks power and is hard to drive it smoothly anymore... This particular problem have been dragging on for months as I kept sending my car for diagnostic and they told me that there is nothing wrong with it... But the more I drive, the more frustrated I became... So I decided to call the head mechanic and told him my problems... Schedule a date and off my car went for another round of diagnose... Again the answer is the same... Nothing wrong with it BUT the head mechanic found out that there is a leak in one of the vacuum hose and it replace the hose... Guess what problem solve!!! Now my car is smoother to drive and I'm enjoying every single minute of it!!!

The moment I parted with her, I definitely felt sad... Although we had not been together for a very long time but she definitely did what she needed to do... Which was to 'ENTERTAIN' me!!! Before I parted with her, we did something so 'shiok' and awesome that I'm lost for words!!! No word seems able to describe the feeling!!!

During those 3 years that I had her, we went through some high and lows but never once she decided to let me down... Guess she's really grateful that I treated her so well... She's always well fed and whenever I sensed that she's not feeling well, I will always bring her to the doc... I believe that's what we call 'gratitude'!!!

So goodbye my beloved 'Gen2 MME'... I know you already found yourself a new owner but I still wish you all the best and hopefully your new owner will treat you as good or better than I did...

31st October 2010... What's so special about this day besides Halloween??? In fact I really can't give you an answer if I didn't...

31st October 2010... What's so special about this day besides Halloween??? In fact I really can't give you an answer if I didn't went 'Pavilion' yesterday... Something strange but extremely WONDERFUL happened at 'Pavilion' yesterday...

No I'm not talking about the fountain in front of 'Pavilion'... I'm sure some you you would notice some really bright cars in front of the fountain...

Yup I'm talking about these!!! 'The Prancing Horse'!!! So what's the odd of bumping into a Ferrari on a normal day??? Maybe once a week if you're lucky enough... So make a guess... How many Ferrari's do you think were there yesterday???

Hold your breath because I'm going to announce something I'm very sure you don't witness everyday... There were a total of 140 Ferrari turning up at 'Pavilion' yesterday!!! In fact this is the BIGGEST ever Ferrari gathering in Asia!!!

The famous 'Prancing Horse' logo!!! Lots of Ferrari on display that day ranging from the awesome 599 GTB Fiorano, 612 Scaglietti, California to the sexy F430 and not forgetting some ultra limited model as well...

More than half of the Ferrari's are the F430...

Maybe around a dozen of the awesome 430 Scuderia are on display as well...

Carbon fiber side mirror for the Scuderia...

As well as HUGE carbon ceramic brake...

My feet nearly turn jelly when I saw this car... Ultra rare 16M Scuderia!!! Only 499 were built...

After the assault of the 16M Scuderia, my hands and fingers were the next victim now... Sitting among the F430 lies a really breathtaking beauty... At first I didn't notice it until I heard it... The owner started the engine and gave the accelerator some prodding and the sound that it makes were music to my ears!!! And not forgetting DAMN LOUD as well!!!

Seeing the car in real life makes my fingers turn gooey and it is hard for me to press the shutter of my camera!!!

Two words explain it all... 'Challenge Stradale'... The 360 Modena Challenge Stradale is sort of like an ancestor to the awesome 430 Scuderia... Same principal... Strip down track car for the road... 852 ever built...

I can't take it anymore because I almost fainted seeing this car... I never thought I had the privileged to see this car in the real... The most I can dream of is watching this car on 'Youtube' or car magazine but here it stood just barely inches from me!!! For those who likes car, I'm very sure you know which hypercar I'm talking about by just seeing the side air intake...

Yeah this is what I'm talking about... The Enzo!!! Only 399 ever built...

Notice all the people turning away from the Enzo??? No is not because of me!!! The reason for this is because the last car has arrive... Car number 140 and this is not a normal Ferrari by the way... I don't really know but I believe there is only one of it in Malaysia... I'm really sorry because I didn't manage to take pictures of it...

The moment the car arrived, all the peoples were swarming around it and not forgetting journalist as well... So I decided not to take any pictures of it... The car is not as exclusive as this Enzo in my opinion but definitely something different out of these 'NORMAL' Ferrari's... Notice the word normal??? Can you believe I just call these Ferrari's normal??? Yeah these Ferrari's are indeed normal if compare to car number 140 because that car is a modified version of the awesome 430 Scuderia...

The car is tuned by 'Novitec'... Those insane tuners at Novitec thinks that the standard Scuderia is not powerful enough hence bumping the power to 717bhp from the standard 510bhp with the help of a pair of supercharger!!!

Last but not least the latest car from Ferrari is on display as well... The 458 Italia...

I like the tri exhaust... Just like the legendary F40!!!

It pisses me off whenever I see a car driving around with its hazard light on when it is raining heavily... Do you know the meaning of hazar...

It pisses me off whenever I see a car driving around with its hazard light on when it is raining heavily... Do you know the meaning of hazard light??? The purpose of hazard light is for disabled car parking at the side of the road and not for moving cars!!!

If you feel that the rain is very heavy just switch on your headlight and whatever possible light that your car have EXCEPT hazard light!!! By switching on hazard light while driving may confuse other driver that the car is stationary because this is a universal fact that people use hazard light when the car is stationary... But in Malaysia, this is not the case... Whenever it is raining heavily, I can see at least 5 to 10 cars running around with their hazard light on...

So please stop turning on your car's hazard light when you are driving in the rain... Just make sure you turn on your headlight and drive as usual... So think twice before pressing the button with a safety triangle!!!

Recently I took my Gen2 out for a spin and to the mountain we go!!! I believe Genting is the best place to test my car and also my ability... Besides that, Genting is really near to my place...

I'd change my brake hose to a steel braided type and I don't really have the time to test it out... So this trip up Genting is the perfect time for me to test it out...

Frankly speaking I'm really amazed at the handling of my Gen2... Very neutral handling with minimal understeer... Push it really hard and the tail will step out a bit in order to tighten the line... No snap oversteer as well unlike my previous Kelisa which will oversteeer in a blink of an eye when you're not gentle with the throttle... Really remarkable... Besides that, the whole car felt really agile...

So how does the steel braided hose fare??? Awesome!!! No more mushy brake pedal!!! Firm pedal is the order of the day no matter how hard I stomp on the brake pedal!!! Overall I'm really satisfied with it... Coupled the steel braided hose + R3 slotted disc brake together with R3 lowering spring and GAB absorber = DAMN NICE HANDLING!!! (Curse all the speed hump when coming down from Genting!!! Really hard to drive smoothly with all the bumps around!!!)

If you're a speed junkie like me, I highly recommend this to you... You will be amaze at how awesome it is...

I really salute this guy... The weather is so freaking hot and he manage to wear this!!! Look at all the crowd!!! The second guy that I salu...
