Nowadays it seems a bit hard to find a good movie so I didn't expect 'Hanna' to be good... Unlike 'Wu Xia' which I'm really disappointed at, 'Hanna' brightens up my day after watching it... Is been a long time since I've watch something like this... I really like the way the director films the movie... I don't know why but I just relate director 'Joe Wright' with 'Quentin Tarantino'... There are some similarities on the way they film... Anybody feels the same???

'Saoirse Ronan' (can somebody tells me how to pronounce her name???) is an excellent actress in my opinion... She plays 'Hanna' very well and that's her name in the movie by the way... I will not reveal what the story is about but there is some slight twist in the plot but don't expect something BIG... 'Cate Blanchett' is another actress that I loved... Really talented and she really brings out the character of 'Marissa' which is a CIA agent... Highly recommended if you ask me!!!

Change my 'Victor' steering wheel to this 'Nardi'... This is one of the most sought after steering wheel on the market right now made famous by drifters!!! I like this steering a lot and it is damn hard to get a good condition used unit nowadays... Besides that, the price is not really cheap for a good condition one...

I find this steering wheel more compatible with my current car... As I consider my 'FrankenBenz' as a classic, I think it is more appropriate to fix a classic looking steering wheel on a classic car!!!

By the way, my old 'Victor' steering wheel is for sale... Message me if you are interested!!!

I'm really excited when I know about this movie... The reason for this is because 'Donnie Yen' one of my all time favourite martial art actor and 'Takeshi Kaneshiro' which is the only guy that I find it handsome are starring in this movie together...

The last 'Donnie Yen' movie was a disappointment and sad to say this movie is a disappointment as well... The first half of the movie is really boring while the second part is not much to shout about as well... As for the story line, I didn't find it interesting either... I'm really confuse on why they chose this name for the movie... It just doesn't seems right... I still can't make out what this movie is trying to bring out... Is this a detective movie or a martial art/kung fu movie... But it looks like the director can't decide on this either so they decided to merge the two together...

The only thing that I like about this movie is the colour... Very nice colour if you ask me and not forgetting the cute little boy!!! That's all I guess... If you insist on watching this movie, maybe try going on Wednesday in order to make it justifiable... Definitely not worth the full amount that you are going to pay on other days!!!

Finally my FrankenBenz is ready to roll!!! My first test drive ended with a BIG grin on my face!!! The moment I put my foot down I went OMG!!!!!!!!!! The power delivery is really awesome... If you ask me, I think the power delivery is actually quite smooth and no sudden burst of speed like some other turbo machine... You can definitely feel being pin down to the seat...

So now my car is definitely more powerful but the suspension is getting softer... The reason is because the 'Toyota' engine is much more heavy and it causes my tyres to scrap on the fender and it is really annoying!!! Besides that, the engine is much more powerful and the car felt somewhat wallowy... Initially when I went looking for Richard of 'Titan', he said that the custom absorber is more than enough for my old 'Merz' engine but it is better to get his adjustable kit when my car is fitted with the 'Toyota' engine... At first I wanted to save some $$$ and opted for the absorber only but it seems like I got no choice but to get the adjustable kit as well!!!

I'm still using the original 'Merz' spring... In order to get it stiffer and lower, they cut the spring again!!! But I truly trust them because the first time I cut my spring, I'm really amaze at how well my car rides... Normally, I don't encourage people to cut their spring in order to get the lowered look but if 'Richard' of 'Titan' said it is ok, then by all means go ahead... They know what they are doing...

'Nissan Cefiro A31'... At first glance they is nothing wrong with this car but take a look at the engine bay and you will notice something different...

'Toyota 2JZ non VVTI' with a bad-ass turbine!!! I asked the owner why he decided to plonk in the 'Toyota 2JZ' and he said because this engine is powerful!!! Before this he's using the 'Nissan RB25DET' and he said that this engine is for sissy!!! Totally lack of power and he told me from experience that an original 'Toyota 1JZ' with auto transmission can smoke a RB25DET manual easily!!! No joke!!! So guess I make the right choice...

Ohh la la... What a nice view if you ask me!!!

So what is the difference before and after installing the adjustable kit??? Night and day difference is my answer... The car ride much more stiffer hence eliminating the wallowy feeling... But it is definitely not crashy... Highly recommended if you ask me but the kit is not really cheap... I guess good things doesn't come cheap!!!

'B&S Boutique Hotel' is another newly open hotel at 'Batu Pahat'... Recently, there are a lot of hotels opening in 'Batu Pahat'... I don't really know the reason but it seems like tourists really like 'Batu Pahat'!!!

Frankly speaking, I don't really like the name of this hotel but I'm not the owner and I'm not the one they need to please so what do they care about me??? This hotel is suppose to be a bit more high end than 'Pinetree Hotel' which I really like... But as far as decoration goes, it don't seems high end to me!!! This is suppose to be a boutique hotel but I feels like I'm in a theme park rather than a hotel with all the striking colours clashing against each others... If you ask me, this is a designer's nightmare!!! 'Pinetree' is a much better design hotel if you ask me...

But as far as food is concern, 'B&S Hotel' have the upper hand... The food is so much better compare to 'Pinetree' which sucks if you ask me (you can read back my previous post on 'Pinetree Hotel')...

Hot and cold honey lemon... Nice but a bit sweet for me... RM4.50 for either hot or cold...

Mushroom soup with garlic bread... Nothing to shout about the soup which taste like Campbell's but the garlic bread is nice... RM5.50...

Mushroom chicken chop... No comment on this as I'm not the one eating... Looks nice... RM12.00...

This grilled salmon fish is definitely much better compare to the one serve in 'Pinetree'... Some people prefer their dish to be full of gravy but I like mine to be like this... Very minimal sauce in order to bring out the original taste of the food... RM22.00 for this...

Tenderloin steak... Like the grilled salmon fish, this dish is so much better than those serve in 'Pinetree'... The meat is much more tender and juicy and the gravy doesn't cover the original taste of the beef... Really nice if you ask me... RM28.00 for this...

Damn look at all the wire!!! This is one of the toughest job according to my mechanic... He promise me that all the meter will be working except the 'economy' meter... I'm okay with it cause I don't really care about that particular meter anyway... The purpose of the 'economy' meter is to let you know how heavy is your right foot on the accelerator pedal...

Bought my turbo timer and boost meter for him to install as well... Will be getting myself a speed meter in order to bypass the speed cut which limits the car to 180km/h only and for backup just in case the analog meter don't work... At least I still know how fast I'm going... But the speed reading will not be accurate anymore because of the rear axle ratio... The 'Toyota' uses a 4.1 ratio whereas my 'Merz' uses a 3.27 ratio... By using the 'Merz' original axle, the acceleration will suffer but I will gain top speed... If you ask me, I prefer acceleration more than top speed but I'm going to use the original axle first... If I break it, then I will definitely go for a 'Toyota' or 'Nissan' unit with a higher ratio!!!

This is my only concern regarding my engine mod... The fan is way too close to the radiator... My mechanic told me in order to solve this problem, I need to change to a electric fan or get myself a hydraulic fan kit found on the 'Toyota Chaser' halfcut... I decided to try it out first before changing anything so I'm keeping my finger cross... Hopefully nothing goes wrong!!! (Some spoiler on what happen!!! My gamble doesn't pays off and I'm paying for it now... Something BIG happens... If you read my blog, I'm very sure you know what happen as I've posted it!!!)

Messy interior... Oh ya, anyone wants this steering??? I'm not using it anymore cause I got myself a new one as this don't really goes well with my car now...

The new 'Toyota ECU' residing in the same place where the old 'Merz ECU' used to be... Another BIG mistake I made asking my mechanic to place the 'Toyota ECU' there!!! Will blog about this later...

Air filter on... Now the filter looks so tiny fitted to this engine... When I used it on my previous car, it doesn't look so apparent!!!

Oh my, what a way to end an awfully long franchise but they did end it with a bang if you ask me!!! Definitely the BEST ever 'Harry Potter' movie by quite a margin... I know this movie will definitely be better than 'Part 1' but I didn't expect it to be this good... No, I have not read any 'Harry Potter' story books before because I believe those books are meant for small kids... But after watching all 'Harry Potter' movies, I suddenly have this urge to read it... The last two movies are no longer meant for kids if you ask me... It felt more like an action packed movie catering for adults... I believe so because like 'Harry', 'Ron' and 'Hermaine', the target audience are adults now just like them... I know you can't compare 'Harry Potter' with 'Transformers' but if you really want to compare, I believe magic win this time round!!! 'Avada Kedavra Optimus'!!!

Since my last trip to Korea, I told myself that I would ban Korean food once and for all!!! I don't know why but I'm really scare of Korean food now and I don't really fancy them in the very first place... But if the Korean food consist of only barbecue item, then I'm on... On the other side, my darling is a BIG fans of Korean food so sometimes there are some compromise that we need to made...

But fear not because I found myself a very nice Korean restaurant and the best part is, it is a buffet style restaurant meaning you can eat all you want until you puke!!! But that is not the way to have buffet!!!

If you ask me, I think the design of the restaurant looks almost similar to 'Hertz Chicken Buffet' or all buffet style restaurant looks the same???

There are a few choices of broth and my darling chose 'kimchi'... I'm okay with it cause I don't fancy soup and she can have whatever flavour that she likes as long as I got my barbecue!!!

There are a lot of meat for you to choose ranging from beef to chicken and fish... Besides that, there have prawn and clams as well... This is a HALAL restaurant so obviously there is no pork around...

What I like most is their garlic beef... Nicely marinated... If you like beef, make sure you get yourself some of this...

As usual, you can get yourself some of the side dishes that make Korean food famous besides the kimchi...

Some fried sausages and tofu when you are bored of barbecuing...

This the best part if you ask me... There is a tiny machine that allow you to make your own 'ice kacang'!!! Nice!!!

As for the price it is RM26.88+ per pax for lunch and RM35.88+ per pax for dinner...

Mounting done and the new engine is in the bay now!!! What a sight to behold!!! It looks so much neater compare to the old 'Merc M103' engine... The wiring is not ready yet so the car is still unable to start...

I'm very particular with engine bay neatness so I told my mechanic to hide all the wiring if is possible... Try to make it as neat as possible... I know a lot of people dislike engine transplant because they think that the engine bay will looks awful with all the wiring running around and it doesn't looks original... So I'm trying to prove them wrong here...

Still retaining the original 'Merc' engine mount... Can't change the mounting if you are going for endorsement...

Original 'Toyota Soarer' intercooler... It is situated at the side of the car instead of the norm which is in the middle... The intercooler is small if you ask me but I believe that it is sufficient for my usage as I'm not going for high horsepower...

What do you think is the scariest 'COLOUR' and 'WORD'??? It seems like in Malaysia, a lot of people are getting paranoid and scare about the colour 'YELLOW' and the word 'BERSIH'... Frankly speaking I can't think of any bloody reason for these people to be afraid of... Unless there is something going on behind close doors!!! If not, it just doesn't makes sense at all...

If you ask me, I think that 'RED' is much more scarier than 'YELLOW'... Normally people associate blood with 'RED' and normal people like me don't like blood... But this is not the case in Malaysia because I find some people like the colour 'RED' and also blood in terms of bloodshed!!! They embrace 'RED'!!!

As for 'YELLOW', I find it rather pleasing to my eyes... 'YELLOW' are suppose to be jolly don't you think??? But seems like it is really hard for us to see this colour very soon!!! Poor 'DIGI'... I don't know how you are going to survive!!!

So what about the word 'BERSIH'... No problem if you ask me... When I was a kid teacher used to teach us to be 'BERSIH'... I wonder how our teachers are going to teach our younger generation now... Maybe they start to talk like this... "Ali, remember to 'TAK KOTOR'kan your hand after eating!!! In order for you to grow big and strong, you must remember to 'TAK KOTOR'kan yourself, understand"??? I really can't imagine IF this really happen!!!

If you ask me, no colour or word is scary... It is HUMAN that is the scariest of all!!!

I'm very sure everyone will encounter this before in their life time... The only difference is some might need to endure it everyday while some might just endure it for a few days... Actually I don't think is appropriate to use the word endure as I know some of you out there actually prefers to be left alone... I don't know what you're thinking but I'm definitely not one of you...

In this aspect, I'm really bless I guess because my darling have been my companion for such a long time that I felt a bit uneasy when she left me alone for two days where she went 'Singapore and Bintan' celebrating hen night for a lovely bride to be... And to make matter worse, her little brother which is staying with us went back to hometown that particular weekend... This is really home alone for me I guess...

But fret not as these two days, I have my best buddies with me... One of it's name is 'Internet' and the other one is 'Astro'... If you ask me which is better in terms of accompanying me, I can't give you a definite answer but I can tell you that they are both inseparable... When you are bored of surfing the net then find a program that you like on 'Astro' and watch it... But after half a day, I will advise you to revert back to surfing the net as 'Astro' decided to repeat the program over and over again!!! And this is the time that the 'Internet' outshine 'Astro' where it don't repeat itself... But after surfing for a while, you ran out of idea on what to surf!!!

And I believe the time is right for me to introduce my third buddy... I call it the 'Bed'... Believe me, after you are bored with those two, the third buddy is the BEST if you ask me... After a good night sleep, repeat the damn process again the very next day!!! This was how I spent my two days home alone!!!

Finally I managed to get myself a ticket for what seems to be a blockbuster movie of the year, 'Transformer - Dark of The Moon'... I've always been a BIG fans of 'Transformer' since I'm a little kid... What's not to like about 'Transformer'??? Err I can't find any for the time being... They are BIG and they transform!!! If you want something cooler than that, I guess you need a 'Slurpee'!!!

I guess I don't have to talk about the CGI cause I'm very sure that most of you know that it will be awesome... No doubt about that the CGI is indeed awesome... So what about the storyline... If you ask me, I find it a bit messy... But I really like the twist where 'Sentinel' is not what it seems to be... But other than that, is just the normal stuff just like the previous two movies... 'Autobots' protecting earth whereas 'Decepticons' out to destroy it... Same old story I'm afraid... But the CGI alone is worth the money so I will still recommend this movie I guess...

While waiting for my engine to be fitted, I did some shopping and bought some essential items for a turbocharged car... Boost meter is one of it... I know is not necessary to install one but I think that it is good to have one... At least I know how many bar my turbines are boosting and it makes me know whether I'm over boosting or not...

Next item is the turbo timer... Again I know that it is not necessary but I believe it is important for a turbocharged car to have one... It is not advisable to switch off your turbocharged engine after running it... At least let it idle for around 20-30 seconds before shutting it off in order to prolong the life of the turbine... With a turbo timer install, you don't have to wait for 30 seconds before shutting of the engine... You can just switch it off and let the timer do its thing...

Okay this item is not only for a turbocharged car... All cars needed one... It is important to run your car with an air filter... I know some hardcore driver running their car without one... Last time I did it too with my individual throttle bodies 'Kelisa'... But definitely not advisable!!! I'm using a 'HKS Reloaded' open pod air filter for my car... I'm using this air filter on my previous car... Since the filter is still in a very good condition, I only change the filter element... Nowadays there are a lot of imitation one around so please be careful when you purchase one unless you are looking for an imitation one in the very first place...

Still looking good after all these years...

Looks just like new...
