Ok you can call me 'kiasu' if you want and I will admit it!!! Actually my new 'Ipad 2' is still with my friend and I will only be able to get it tomorrow... But I already bought a 'Ipad 2' case and a screen protector already... Hmm feels like history is repeating itself because I did exactly the same more than 3 years ago when I bought the 'Iphone 2G'!!! Don't wanna risk my baby being scratch!!!

I didn't buy the 'Smart Cover' because it doesn't protect the back of the 'Ipad 2' and this is a BIG no no for me!!! I really like the 'Marware Microshell Folio' but too bad it is not launch yet so I got to find myself another alternative...

Since I'm going to use my 'Ipad 2' for work and recreation purposes but more on work, so I guess it is better for me to get a case that looks more presentable which won't look out of place in a meeting room rather than those which looks more funky... I decided to get myself a folio type case from 'Cygnett' because I don't really have much choice and it is really hard to find a 'Ipad 2' cover now in Malaysia!!!

The case is call 'Lavish' and it is made from man made material that is really nice to touch at... The case can be converted to 3 different viewing angles which is something important to me... But what I really like about this case is the protection it provides for my 'Ipad 2'!!! I know some of you might say that it adds a lot of bulk to the 'Ipad 2' but I don't really care about that as bulkiness is not an issue for me...

And this is the screen protector that I got for my 'Ipad 2'... Never heard of this brand but it is much cheaper compare to the others... Most of the screen protector cost around RM100++ whereas I got this 'Monifilm' for Rm69 only... Arghhhh!!! I can't wait for tomorrow!!!

It is the time of year which I love most!!! So what is so special about April??? Because my birthday falls on April so obviously I love April... Luckily I'm not a girl if not I think I will name myself April!!! Haha...

Nothing special for this year as well... Just some normal dinner with my darling since it is a weekday and both of us is working... Besides that, I believe age plays a part as well... I just want something simple for my birthday... Nothing spectacular please!!!

I heard a lot of good reviews from blogger and friends saying that this restaurant serve really nice 'Italian' food... We decided to give it a try since it is not very far from our place...

I really like the decoration which I find it tastefully done...

I believe this is their specialty because it is call 'Silver Spoon Special'!!! The taste is refreshing but a bit sweet for me... I cannot remember the exact ingredients but I believe it is a mixture of orange, strawberry, banana and pineapple??? RM15.00 for this...

Soup of the day... 'Minestrone Soup'... RM10.00 for the soup...

While the garlic bread cost RM3.00... I like the garlic bread a lot...

This is one of the dish recommended by a lot of bloggers... 'Arrancini & Cheese'... I must agree that this is indeed really good... I love the 'Arrancini' while my darling loves the 'Cheese'... 'Mozzarella' to be precise!!! RM22.00 for this...

A close up of the 'Cheese'!!!

The salad is nice as well... Fresh!!!

And this is the 'Arrancini'... 'Arrancini' are fried rice ball coated with breadcrumbs...

'Lasagne Bolognese'... I don't really know why I just can't resist 'lasagne'... Their 'lasagne' is definitely much better compare to 'Italiannies'... RM27.00 for this...

My darling's 'Duck Confit'... The duck is a bit salty and overcook in my opinion but nevertheless, it is a really nice dish!!! RM39.00 for this...

From what I heard, 'Chef Ken' which is the mastermind behind 'Silver Spoon' is really famous for dessert... 'Tiramisu' especially!!! But too bad both of us are just too full to try it!!! But fret not because we will definitely be back!!! Our next mission is to try their 'Tiramisu' and 'Creme Brule'...

Are they out of their mind??? Who in their right mind would like to eat condom??? So why condom shape chocolate in the first place??? I guess the manufacturer is some kind of sick dude and decided that it is fun to eat condom and since the 'normal' one is not edible, so they came out with a made from chocolate one...

'Choco is better than sex'??? Hmmm frankly speaking, I don't think so...

And before you jump into any conclusion, let me clarify that this does not belongs to me... I'm not some sick pervert who likes to eat something like this... I admit that I like chocolate and I'm a really curious type of person but eating a condom never cross my mind!!!

These are the new rims that I'm talking about... In order to fit the 'ATE' four piston calipers to my car, I need BIGGER rims!!! So after searching around I finally found the rims that I want... At first I don't really know which rims to choose because I still can't made up my mind on which route to take and besides that, it is not easy to find rims with PCD 112 which is what my car is using... Most car uses the usual PCD 100 and PCD 114.4 which is super duper easy to find... So finally I decided to stick to original 'Mercedes' item hence the 'AMG' rims!!!

These 'AMG' rims are 18" all round but staggered... The front is 8.5" wide as the rear is 9" wide... As for the tyres, the front is 235 while the rear is 265 and the offset is 32 front and 35 rear if I'm not mistaken... Frankly speaking, these specification don't really suits the W124 as the tyres and rims are wider than the fender!!!

As you can see from this pic, the tyre is wider than the fender... The front is even worse!!! So obviously this lead to another project which is to wider the fender!!! Haiz one mod leads to another!!!

The left is my new set and the one on the right is the old one... Just look at the different!!! So much wider and I'm loving it!!! My car looks so much meaner now!!!

Another love hate situation here I guess... Maybe I will start with hate this time... What I hated about this movie is the storyline... Real...

Another love hate situation here I guess... Maybe I will start with hate this time... What I hated about this movie is the storyline... Really boring in my opinion... You can't get any straighter than this... The moment 'Baby Doll' started dancing, that's the time the whole movie goes downhill because you know what's going to happen next... And they did it four times!!! Can you believe it...

The CGI is the part that I like... Awesome in my opinion!!! Really excellent graphic... Another thing that I like is the mood and colour of the movie... I really like this kind of colour and mood and this is something you can't get very often... A good thumbs up for them on the CGI but other than that, the whole movie is not really enjoyable...

This is the 'Ate' four piston caliper that I'm talking about in my previous blog post... I really like the clean design... If you compare it to those 'Brembo' found on 'Evo' and 'STi', this caliper is a bit smaller in design but according to some expert, it is said that the stopping power is equivalent or almost similar to those 'Brembo'!!!

If you are planning to upgrade your W124 brake, try to get yourself one of these because you don't have to mod a single thing... Just plug and play... Hassle free!!!

The only thing that I change is those two pins holding the brake pad as it is already rusty!!! I even use back the brake pad!!!

Just look at the size of the disc!!! It is slightly bigger than my shoe... But mind you I have small feet... But still the disc is huge!!! Before fitting this to my car, I encounter yet another problem... Now my rims are too small for them!!! The standard 15" rims just can't fit those caliper and disc!!! But fret not because I'm going to change to a set of bigger rims... 18" to be precise!!!

Since I'm putting in a more powerful engine, the front stock brake is definitely not enough to stop the car... Although I have seen some Benz with 2JZ-GTE using stock standard brake, I'm not going to take the same route as them because I believe this is really dangerous... The standard item can stop the car but how long will it take to stop and how many times can it take the abuse of repeated high speed stop??? As you can see, the standard brake is from 'Girling' and it is a one piston caliper design... Although this is a large piston design, but I still think that it is inadequate for my new engine... Better be safe than sorry!!!

As for the rear, I'm going to use it back because this is a large two piston design which I believe is more than enough for my application... The standard rear brake kit is from 'Ate'... Hmmm why are they using a 'Girling' front brake kit and a rear 'Ate' brake kit??? But this is no longer a problem for me... I guess I'm really fortunate because I manage to find a good condition front four piston caliper from 'Ate' which is really hard to find in Malaysia!!! So now I have a complete 'Ate' brake kit for my car!!!

'Popeyes' released this new menu called the 'Carnival Chicken' in conjunction of 'Mardi Gras'... I know it had been released for quite some times now but I don't really have the chance to try it out until very recently... Well what I can say is I'm actually very disappointed with it by just looking at it!!! It looks really awful!!! From the looks of it, I perceive that the chicken is some leftover from yesterday!!! It looks overcook and not to mention dry...

Ok I admit that the phrase is correct... 'Never judge a book by its cover' because although the chicken looks dry, in fact it is not... The chicken is tender and very juicy inside... But about the taste, I believe I'm spot on... The chicken tasted really ordinary which you can get it in any mamak stall!!! Besides that, I don't think is worth it because for the price of this, I can get myself a three piece chicken plus a coleslaw (not forgetting 'SATISFACTION GUARANTEE' which obviously you can't get from the 'Carnival Chicken').. My advise is to stay as far away from it as you can... Better stick to the usual fried chickens of theirs which receive two thumbs up from me... As for this 'Carnival Chicken', I wish I have two more thumbs because I really wanted to give it a FOUR thumbs down if I can!!! Please stay away from it!!!

Ok is time to unveil the all important ingredient for my project car which is the engine... Why "FrankenBenz'??? Here is your answer... Just like 'Frankenstein', I'm actually dumping a Japanese engine into my beloved Benz... So now you know why I name my car 'FrankenBenz'...

I know some of you might say what the hell is a Japanese engine doing inside a German car... My answer to you will be "Mine Your Own Business"!!! This is my car and I can do anything I want as long as I'm happy with it!!!

For those who likes the idea of dumping a Japanese engine into a German car, please read on... The reason why I choose a Japanese engine instead of a German one is really simple... POWER and TORQUE is the answer... In order to get the power and torque that I need, I need a 4.2L M119 engine from 'Mercedes' which produces 275bhp and 400Nm... Do you think is feasible to dump a V8 'Mercedes' engine into my car??? I know the V8 sounds real good but RM7500++ for a year of roadtax sounded just as good!!! Besides that, it is not easy to find a M119 engine in Malaysia as well... So the cheapest alternative is still the Japanese...

'Toyota Soarer' halfcut...

So why a 'Toyota' engine??? I did compared this engine to 'Nissan' RB25DET engine which is in the same category as the 'Toyota' 1JZ-GTE engine... But after asking around, I decided to go with the 'Toyota' because it is much more powerful... Besides that, I like the clean looks of the engine unlike the RB25DET which looks like a mess!!! After deciding on 'Toyota' engine, I faced another dilemma because there are two options for me to choose... A 1JZ-GTE with twin turbo or a 1JZ-GTE with single turbo but with VVTi??? Which one to choose??? At first I'm incline towards the latter because it is a newer engine but I can't find a good halfcut so I decided to stick with the older version of the engine...

The 1JZ-GTE is a 2.5L inline six engine that came with two turbochargers... The power quoted is 280bhp at 6200rpm and 363Nm of torque at 4800rpm... So if you compare it to my previous 'Mercedes' M103 engine, this engine is a BEAST!!! To me, there is nothing to be ashamed about having a Japanese engine inside your Benz when you manage to smoke almost everyone on the road!!! Priceless!!!
