'Namewee' which rose to fame with the controversial music video 'Negarakuku' release a very good song (in my opinion) on the 'Lynas' issue... All 'Malaysian' should know about this issue and if you don't, SHAME ON YOU!!! I find this song very catchy and totally agree with him on the lyrics as well... I must give credit to 'Namewee' for having balls to trespass into 'Lynas' processing facility area!!!

A lot of my friends and even relatives ask why 'Lynas' chose to setup the rare earth processing facility here in 'Malaysia'... My only answer to them is "You should ask why 'Malaysian' government allow 'Lynas' to operate here in 'Malaysia'"!!! Is very obvious that no other country in the world wants to be a part of this but why our government do??? This is the BIG question here...

In terms of land size, 'Australia' is way bigger than 'Malaysia' which looks tiny in comparison... Besides that, the population in 'Australia' is in fact less than what we have in 'Malaysia'... So with more land and less people to expose the threat to, why don't 'Lynas' setup the processing facility in their own country???

In terms of business, it doesn't make any sense as well because they need to ship the rare earth to 'Malaysia' for processing and reship it back to 'Australia' once process... Why all the hassle??? Isn't it more convenient for them to follow their initial plan of mining the ore from 'Mt Weld' and sending them to 'Meenaar Industrial Park' for final processing which is around 800++km away from 'Mt Weld'... After processing, the radioactive waste will be transported back to 'Mt Weld' for burial and only around 1,500 people living within 35km radius of 'Mt Weld'!!! This was their initial plan...

There are around 700,000 people living within the 35km radius of the 'Gebeng' plant and the risk of human exposing to radioactive waste is 466 times more likely than in 'Australia'!!! Aren't we 'Malaysian' human as well??? I don't know why our government wanted 'Lynas' so badly but I for sure will not support this... This is our land and we have the right to voice out... But you know what is the best part??? Our government is actually giving 'Lynas' a whopping 12 years tax exemption!!! Talking about desperate...

Today is a very good day, very good die, very good day to die!!!

Is time to change the brake pad for my 'Peugeot 308 Turbo' again!!! Front brake pad can last only around 40,000++km and the rear pad can last up till around 80,000++km!!! This is the fastest wearing brake pad car that I've ever drove... Not forgetting the disc rotor!!! The front need replacement real soon...

This time round, I didn't opt to use back original brake pad from 'Peugeot'... Since the original one wears out easily, I decided to give some other brand a try and not forgetting saving some hard earned cash as well... 'Valeo' is one of the biggest OE manufacturer around so I presume that the quality is on par with the original one...

After bedding in the brake pad, I'm amaze with the stopping power from the new 'Valeo' brake pad... The brake quality is actually on par with the original one and the best part is both front and back 'Valeo' brake pad cost less than the front original brake pad alone!!! Crazy right but is true... The only drawback is the spongy feel of the brake pedal... But this occur even when I use the original brake pad... The only thing I can do to eliminate this is change to steel braided hose... But let's just wait till the warranty period is over!!!

Frankly speaking, I don't have good impression for 'Singapore' (continue reading if you're feeling piss off right now!!!) as a lot of my friends complaint about it... But most of them are still working there... I know the main reason for this is because of the conversion rate from 'Singapore Dollar' to 'Ringgit Malaysia'... So no matter how bad the country is, you will still need to tolerate...

Is been a long time since I last step into 'Singapore' as a tourist... I went there a couple of times last year but it was purely business and the only place that I went was my customer place situated in 'Woodlands' and 'Marina Bay Sands' which was also one of our customer... That's it... Nothing more and nothing less...

We were really excited when we had the opportunity to travel to 'Singapore' and pretend to be a tourist for a day a fortnight ago... Actually we were attending a friend's 'ROM' and in the meantime, we took the opportunity presented at us and decided to go sight seeing the very next day...

After spending a day in 'Singapore', it changed my perception totally!!! It is a beautiful country and the living expenses is way lower compare to 'Kuala Lumpur'!!! (please don't convert the currency... what I'm talking about is earning the same amount of money in both country and try buying something similar... for example, an 'Apple iMac' cost around RM3600++ in 'Malaysia' whereas in 'Singapore', you can get one for around $1600++!!! RM3000 a month can't get you an 'iMac' in 'Malaysia' but $3000 a month can get you at least one and a half 'iMac' in 'Singapore'... see the difference???)...

Don't really have enough time to shop around as we got a flight to catch... Don't want to miss my flight again!!! (will blog about this in my coming blog!!! our first time missing a flight)... Brother-in-law took us to the famous 'Orchard Road' and some other shopping complexes around that area as we need to meet up with some other friends that are currently residing in 'Singapore'...

The famous durian roof of 'Esplanade'!!!

Inside 'Esplanade'...

Going around 'Singapore' is really easy... You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out as their 'MRT' is really user friendly something like our very own 'LRT'...

'Orchard Road'!!! Finally have the chance to get up-close and personal with it!!! In my opinion, there's nothing special about this road... But for the ladies, this is a very different story...

This is so very cool!!! Walking advertisement... I know we have this in 'Malaysia' as well... But the ladies are not as hot as these!!! Very beautiful looking girls (not sure about the guys though)... The way they place the ad is ingenious but I wonder what will happen if there's a strong gust of wind blowing either from the front or back??? Will these ladies be blown away??? I doubt so looking at how skinny there are!!!

Below are some random pics of the shopping complexes that we have visited... Unfortunately, I can't remember their name... Not even a single one!!!

'H&M' is very cheap in 'Singapore'... All the clothes and pants selling in double digit... Only coats retailing over a hundred dollar... Hopefully 'H&M Malaysia' will price their clothes as low as in 'Singapore'!!! But I really doubt so...

After spending almost a full day in 'Singapore', I'm starting to fall in love with it!!! I guess my friends in 'Singapore' will agree with me on this... Exchange rate is only one of the reason and there are a lot of  other good reasons for them to be staying there (cheap food/electronics/clothing and etc)!!! But good times tend to pass really fast and is time for us to come back to reality and start working my ass off again!!!

I used to love going to this particular restaurant for their lovely seafood noodles... I'm very sure those living in 'Klang Valley' will know about this establishment... There are a few reason why I stop going to this restaurant for their famous seafood noodles... Firstly, it is not as good as it used to be... Secondly, is getting more and more expensive!!! Imagine a big bowl of seafood noodle will cost you RM17!!! Too expensive for my liking...

So what do you get for your hard earned RM17??? Two or three big prawns, some fish, clam, oyster and cuttlefish... That's about it... So I don't think is feasible to splurge on a bowl of seafood noodle where I can get better food for my RM17!!! Once in a blue moon is still okay...

You have a choice of curry, tom yam and clear broth... And my choice will always be clear as I don't really fancy curry or tom yam... So I can't comment much on those two... As for the clear broth, it is definitely not as good as before... The broth used to be very sweet and flavourful but this is not the case now... Slightly better than those normal seafood noodle stalls found scattering around but not much better but the price gap between them are huge!!!

Normally this is where we sat... I don't like to sit in their restaurant as it is stuffy and hot... Just like sitting in an oven or sauna...
