I know is a bit too late to post it but still better late than never!!! Since the birth of my princess, I'm busy doing what a daddy should and neglected my blog... But I promise I won't let it die... So please visit my blog whenever you're free to check on updates but frankly speaking update will be much lesser compare to last time!!!

Here are some pictures of what we have for our reunion lunch this year... Hope you enjoy the pics...

'Texas Chicken' is finally in 'Malaysia'!!! As far as I know, currently there are only two outlets available... One in 'Klang' and another in 'Sri Gombak'... As a self proclaim fast food junkie, I will try my very best to try out all the new fast food joint in 'Malaysia', 'Texas Chicken' included!!!

Frankly speaking, after trying out their chicken, I will only say one thing to 'KFC' and my former love 'Popeye's'... Bye bye!!! The chicken is ridiculously BIG and not forgetting tender and juicy!!! And don't get me started on the biscuit!!! It is absolutely marvelous!!! Very nice butter taste with a tinge of honey... Coleslaw and mashed potatoes are incredible as well... Definitely one of the best fried chicken around... So be warned 'KFC' and 'Popeye's'!!! You already lost one customer and I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who agree with what I've just said!!! Be prepare with more customers patronizing 'Texas Chicken' from now on!!!

I received a SMS from 'McD' yesterday saying that they will be launching a new burger which is call 'Samurai Burger' today... As an avid 'McD' fans, I will be sure that I'm among the first to sink my teeth into it!!! And I did...

I've never heard of the 'Samurai Burger' before (not sure whether is this a common burger found in 'Japan'???) and I'm really excited about it... From the SMS, I know that the burger is beef and it comes with a new drink call 'Sakura McFizz'... Complementing the burger will be 'Katsu Curry McShaker Fries'...

As I'm super duper hungry, double quarter pound beef patty is the way to go!!!

Doesn't look special but trust me, it is nice!!! The beef patty is dip in teriyaki sauce just like how they prepare the 'Prosperity Burger'... The sauce tasted a bit sweet and it is very flavourful creating a wonderful taste eaten with the quarter pound beef patty... In my opinion, the 'Samurai Burger' is so much better compare to 'GCB'!!!

I'm not a BIG fans of 'McShaker Fries' as I find it often spoilt the taste of the fries... Since this is something new and I have never eaten before, I decided to give it a go...

Surprisingly, I find the 'Katsu Curry McShaker Fries' quite nice which is something I'm not expecting... But still I find the best way to enjoy fries is with a little help from salt and pepper!!! Simple but still the best... Lastly the new 'Sakura McFizz' drink... Nothing to shout about for this and I will definitely go back to my norm which is 'Diet Coke'... 'Sakura McFizz' is just 'Sprite + Ribena'!!!

The only downside is the cost of it... Quite expensive in my opinion as this 'Double Samurai Burger' set cost me RM18.50 during 'McValue Lunch' promo... So without 'McValue Lunch/Dinner' expect this set to cost around RM20!!! But I will definitely go back for more as this burger rocks!!!

I'm Lovin It!!!

'Swee Sian' is very famous for it's 'assam fish' in my hometown... They used to serve really good 'assam fish' and I can vouch for that!!! But sadly they decided to close the business down when the boss which is also the cook passed away due to dengue fever... We were all saddened!!!

Fast forward a few years, the wife decided to start the business all over again!!! When we knew about this, you can bet that we were among the very first to try it out... They don't serve fancy dishes... Just some very normal one and not forgetting limited in variety as well... For me, one dish is enough if it is really good... No point having a table full of dishes when the taste is nothing to shout about...

The very famous 'assam fish'... Look the same but sadly it doesn't taste as good as it used to be...

'Otak-otak' that is very famous in 'Muar'... But 'Batu Pahat' serve really good 'otak-otak' as well... Definitely much nicer compare to those in 'Kuala Lumpur'!!!

 Another famous dish of theirs!!!

Although the 'assam fish' is not as good as it used to be, we still can't get enough of it!!! To me, it will always be the BEST!!!

One of our favourite place to have breakie is at 'San Francisco Coffee'... I don't really consider their breakfast as cheap but if you compare it to the likes of 'Starbucks' or 'Coffee Bean', then I believe it is cheap...

My favourite set... Healthy and free from oil!!!

I've never been a fans of soya milk since I was a kid... I still remember vividly there was once I drank soya milk after dinner and puke right after that... I guess this is one of the reason why I dislike soya milk...

While walking around 'One Utama', we saw this little stall selling soya milk and my darling wanted to try it...

There are a lot of choices for you to choose and since my darling like coffee she ordered a soy cappuccino which is something new to both of us... I can't remember what I ordered as this is a long overdue post!!!

I like mine cause it tasted like 'cendol' (I'm a BIG fans of cendol!!!) but the soy cappuccino is not really good... Nevertheless, if you like soya milk, you can give this stall a try and in my humble opinion, it is better compare to the overrated 'Chatime'!!! Period!!!
