This was our last stop during our Penang road trip... I'd been to 'Lou Wong' a couple of times already and yet I just can't get enough of it!!! So as usual, a stop at 'Lou Wong' was considered as mandatory whenever we went to Ipoh or Penang...

When we reached there, the shop was packed to the brim... We waited for around 5 minutes for seats and it was raining very heavily at that time!!! What really surprised me was how fast they managed to serve customers... Once seated it took around 5 minutes for our food to arrive!!! Really fast in my opinion and that's a '+' point from me...

As usual, both of us opted for 'hor fun'... The soup was really sweet and I love it but not my darling... According to her, the soup was way to sweet and she suspected a lot of MSG was being used for the soup...

Here comes the main dish... But sadly speaking, the chicken was nothing to shout about... Nothing special except for the gravy which was heavenly!!! Without the gravy, I bet you won't eat the chicken at all... The chicken was not tender nor juicy... Instead it looks and feels overcooked... Definitely not the chicken that I'm expecting... If my memory served me right, they served much better chicken last time...

I can find chicken way better than this easily... Really disappointed!!!

The bean sprout or 'nga choi' which I considered as a main dish as well... If it was not a main dish then why do we called it 'nga choi gai'???

If you asked me, I would preferred the meat/pork balls over fish balls... The meat/pork balls was so much nicer...

Another disappointing dish in my opinion... The chicken knuckle was really tasteless... Not recommended unless you're a die hard chicken knuckle fans!!!

1 bowl of 'hor fun' was definitely not enough... So another bowl of rice was the answer...

Besides that, we ordered more chicken as well... Guessed we were really hungry!!!

We were really disappointed with the chicken... Frankly speaking, I don't think I will be returning in the near future... Maybe I will try out 'Onn Kee' which is better according to a lot of people...

First destination on day 6 was the 'National Folklore Museum'... The museum was established in 1924 by a Japanese... The museum had 3 exhibition halls which illustrate 'The History of Korean People' from pre-historic times to the end of the 'Joseon Dynasty in 1910, 'The Lifestyle of The Korean People' and 'The Lifecycle of a Korean from Birth to Death'...

Nicely decorated museum gift shop...

Time really flies... In a blink of an eye, we were married for a year!!! Can you believe it... Yesterday was our FIRST anniversary and we decided to eat out... We were scratching our head cause we didn't know what to eat... Thinking what to eat was something I'm not really good at... We had a few choices but end up we went to 'Bavarian Bierhaus' at 'The Curve'... Yesterday was my maiden visit while my darling been there before and she's the one who decided to dine there...

'Pineapple Sunshine' mocktail for RM13.90... Very refreshing drinks... I believed we were the only one who did not ordered any 'German beer' while dining at a German restaurant!!!

Our main course for the day... 'Combo Knuckle'... At first we wanted to order a set of pork knuckle and also a set of German sausages but the waiter asked us to think twice because he said the portion was BIG and that's the reason why we settled for 'Combo Knuckle'... RM70 for this set!!!

I must admit that the portion was really HUGE!!!

Gravy to go along with the pork knuckle... In my opinion, the gravy was not really good... In the end we asked for chilli sauce!!! :)

My portion... The sausage was top notch... Very nice indeed but I can't really said that for the pork knuckle... I'm a carnivore by nature but somehow I don't really fancy pork knuckle... I guessed that's the reason I find the pork knuckle so so only...

We can't even finish the 'Combo Knuckle' set!!!
