Front One Way...

Just as described, the front wheels are only allowed to turn one way... A one way bearing in the diff prevents the tire from spinning backward... While on power, both front wheels get equal power (no differential action)... Off power, the front wheels free spin on their own accord... This give high initial turn in, and allows you to really pull through the exit of a turn, as both front wheels are applying maximum power to the ground... Breaking becomes an issue, as the nature of the one way does not allow breaking to effect the front wheels... In effect, its like yanking the e-brake on a car... With out proper attention, this causes the car to loop out much easier, and makes it twitchier at speed...

The benefit of front one way on RC drifting is to minimize understeer... When using front ball diff, more understeer will occur and it is very hard to drift in tight and S-turn corner... Besides that, the angle that the car make is not that beautiful... The downside of using front one way is the car is harder to drive... But once you master it, it is actually as easy to drive as a front ball diff... Most RC drifters prefer to use front one way over ball diff...

Rear Ball Diff...

So what is a ball diff??? It’s a clever little device that takes up the difference in rotating speed between the left and right side driven wheels... Unless a four-wheeled vehicle is traveling perfectly straight, its left and right side wheels travel on different paths, at different speeds... The diff compensates for this while providing drive force to propel the vehicle... Without a diff, one or both of the driven wheels would be dragged across the road surface, resulting in a loss of traction...

This is the limited edition damper by Tamiya Racing Factory (TRF)... The damper shaft is coated with titanium nitride... The titanium nitride coating offers a much harder surface than the stock fluorine coated shafts improving the life of the shaft and increasing time between rebuilds... The titanium nitride surface is also very smooth providing an ultra smooth compression and rebound action...

Because springs tend to vary in length, Tamiya now offers aluminum damper retainers featuring a spring support surface that is 1mm lower than standard... This provides much more flexibility with both Tamiya and aftermarket spring choices...

In order to prolong carbon parts, it is advise to apply a layer of CA glue to the edges... Besides that, it is even better to use a very fine sand paper to sand off the rough edges... The reason for all these is to minimize crack due to collision...

Yesterday went to Spaghetti Grill with some friends... At first we wanted to go Chilis, but it was fully booked... So we decided to try out Spaghetti Grill which was sort of liked a sister to Chilis... If I am not mistaken, they are from the same company... They priced it almost similar to Italianies, from RM20++ to around RM40 per dish... But the serving was a bit smaller compared to Italianeis... In my opinion, I preferred Italianies...

Took this pic while waiting for seats...

Frankly speaking, I never heard of Look Out Point until one day, my wife's brother told me that such place exist... So I decided to bring my wife there to celebrate her birthday on the 14th of September... It took a while for us to find the place cause I am not very familiar with Cheras... Finally we manage to find it... There were a lot of people on that day... Luckily I managed to find a parking... It is very chilly and windy that day and it is really cool to know that you don't have to drive all the way to Genting to experience all this... But of course you can't compare it to Genting in terms of temperature, Genting is much more cooler...

What is so special about Look Out Point is because of the scenery... You can basically view the whole KL town from there... It is really beautiful... Too bad I don't have any pics on the scenery because I don't have a tripod yet... So it is impossible to take pics without the help of tripod... I try a few and it is a disaster...I try to keep my hand as steady as possible but I failed to do so... Don't worry I will be back went I manage to get a tripod...

There were four restaurant there... We chose Kl View Restaurant cause there were a lot of people there compare to the others... But by looking at the menu, there was nothing to shout about... The food looks ordinary... So keeping my finger cross, hopefully the food taste good... Never judge a book by its cover... Hehe...

Black Pepper Chicken Chop...

Special Steak with Cheese and Ham...

Vegetables Salad???

The restaurant next door looks much classier compare to KL View...

Gasoline... Right under KL View Restaurant... Gonna try it on my next visit...

Frankly speaking, the food sucks big time and I am really dissapointed... The steak is small and the gravy is just so so... And Campbell's mushroom soup taste so much better and I don't see any vege in the vegetable salad that we order except cucumber and onion... I can get better western food on those roadside stall...

I can't think of any other reasons for me to go back to KL View Restaurant in the future... Except, the other restaurants food taste as bad or worse than KL View... I think they take it for granted because people will still go there because of the scenery...

Today purposely drove all the way to Serdang just to have a taste of the famous Serdang spicy soup... The name of the shop is Kien Kee... The shop is located behind Dewan Serbaguna on the main road... It is quite near to South City Plaza... It is very easy to find but the traffic condition is a disaster... Cars stop by the roadside and obstruct the traffic... Besides that the road is quite narrow...

Luckily it is worth my journey because the spicy soup is really amazing...

This is the location map...

This is the famous spicy soup... It is really spicy but thankfully I can withstand the spiciness... So what is inside the soup??? Mixture of pork meat, intestine, liver, stomach and chicken meat... It is really tasty especially eaten together with chilli padi... Highly recommended for people who likes spicy food... It cost RM8 per serving...

This is kampung chicken cooked with wine... In mandarin it is called Hua Tiao Chicken... The chicken taste good as well... But in my opinion, there is not enough wine in it... This cost RM8 per serving as well...

This is white taufu in black sauce... Normally I don't quite like taufu... But this is nice... Epecially the dried prawns on top of the taufu... The sauce is very tasty and it is not very salty... It cost RM4 for small and RM8 for big...

As for the vegetables, it is quite common... They just boil the vegetables and put some oyster sauce in it... If I am not mistaken it cost RM5 to RM8...

Overall I am very satisfied with it... Definitely will return for second round in the near future...
