This movie shows us how the young 'Ip Man' grows up and became the master of 'Wing Chun' and also about his love life... So it is pretty different from the other two 'Ip Man' movies by 'Donnie Yen'...
First of all, I don't really like the guy playing 'Ip Man' in this movie (sorry dude)... He's just not 'MAN' enough!!! Other than that, the fight scenes are not that good either... 'Donnie Yen's Ip Man' fight scene looks way better and more realistic... As for the storyline, I hope that it is as real as possible because at least we viewers can have a better understanding on 'Ip Man'... Hopefully they don't make up all the stories!!!
It is not a bad movie but frankly speaking, 'Donnie Yen's Ip Man' are way better in my opinion... Worth to watch but is just not as good as the previous two 'Ip Man' movies... 'Donnie Yen' kick ass!!!

I don't like the guy casted for Ip Man too so I am not going to watch this movie...~ =)
but in my opinion, is worth watching as you will understand 'ip man' more... like how he married his wife and also about his 'wing chun'...
