The Sorcerer's Apprentice

One of my favourite actor is back!!! Whenever there's a movie starring Nicholas Cage, I will try to watch it... He never let me down with his awesome acting skill but too bad 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' is only so so in my humble opinion...

The movie is funny no doubt about that but this movie is about sorcerer... It should have more magic element in it... All the magic that the character perform looks really amateurish... Nothing spectacular... Some fire here and some lightning there and that's it and they are going to convince us that this movie is all about sorcerer??? Try harder and you might nail it...

Not a bad movie and still watchable but you definitely won't regret missing it...

McD GCB!!!

Finally the 'GCB' (Grill Chicken Burger) is here!!! The first time I tasted 'GCB' was nearly 2 years ago in China... Of course the name of the burger is not 'GCB' but some other Chinese character that I don't really understand!!! (Blame myself for being a BANANA!!!)

The burger is really awesome... The meat is really tender and juicy and it is not surprising because McD uses only chicken thigh for the 'GCB'... Although the 'GCB' is awesome, frankly speaking I prefer 'Big Mac' or 'Spicy Chicken McDeluxe' over the 'GCB' and I don't really know why...

As usual, fries with lots of black pepper!!!

Head over to McD for a taste of 'GCB' because the burger is not here to stay... It is sold for a limited time only!!!

Those who lived in Wangsa Maju or studied in TARC a few years back should know this restaurant well... They used to operate in stall and due to raid by DBKL, they was forced to close down the stall... I thought that's the end of it and never did I expect to see this... They came back with a bang instead... Everything were better than before but unfortunately not the food... True that they introduced more variety but the quality of the food were not like it used to be...

Everything was neater and much nicer...

More variety of drinks as well but too bad just like the food, the quality of drinks were not up to standard...

This was one of their new menu... 'Chu yok fan'...

'Dry pan mee'...

One of their new menu as well... 'Herbal broth'...

Who in the right mind can come out with this storyline??? It is freaking awesome!!! Is been a long time since I've watch a movie that requires me to concentrate and think what is actually going on... Once you understand the movie, I'm very sure you will agree with me that it is a really good movie... This is a highly recommended movie from me...

Although I enjoyed the movie, the process of watching it was not really enjoyable thanks to a bunch of idiotic + moronic peoples sitting in from of me... I don't know what were they thinking because they talk non stop!!! Hello, be considerate!!! The people sitting in front of them stared at them and ask them to keep quiet not once but twice but they still continue doing what they do best which was acting like a bunch of 'SAKAI' going to cinema... Besides that, they kept going in and out of the cinema and kept on changing places among themselves... Oh gosh, this was the first time I've experience something like this...

Half way through, they decided to leave early so that we can have some peace of mind watching the movie... Thank you and I believe there was cure for you guys because FINALLY you understood what we wanted... Yes that's right... Just leave the cinema god damn it!!!

This appetizer cost Rm3.00 per plate!!!

'La Mien with Superior Seafood'... RM15.80 for one... According to my darling's bro, it is actually quite nice... Can fight with 'Segambut's seafood noodles'!!!

'Fried Rice in Seafood Soup'... This is nice... I really like it... There are a lot of prawns and fresh crab meat inside... But don't expect BIG prawns though... RM18.80 for this...

'Seafood Beancurd Thick Soup'... I don't really like it because the soup is really really 'THICK'!!! Too starchy for my liking... RM9.00 for this...

'Teo Chew Dumpling'... Actually the fillings are the same as the appetizer!!! Not really good... RM6.00...

'Steamed Siew Mai'... The 'siew mai' is quite good in my opinion... At least better compare to the 'Teo Chew Dumpling'!!! RM7.00...

'Steamed Pork Dumpling' AKA 'Xiao Long Pao'... The tip of the dumpling is too hard and it tasted so so only... RM8.00...

The Twilight Saga - Eclipse

This is the first time I review about 'The Twilight Saga'... The first time I watched 'Twilight' I was left speechless... Speechless because the movie was damn boring... The reason I felt boring was because I don't know that it was a romance movie... I though it was an action pack movie with vampires killing each other or something like that...

So I don't really understand the hype around this movie until I decided to read the story books instead... After reading then only I can fully understand about the movie... But frankly speaking I still find the movie boring... The story book was much better...

After that 'New Moon' came out and I decided to watch it since I'd started reading the story books... I find 'New Moon' much better as compared to 'Twilight'... More action which was what I preferred and actually I'm really anticipating the screening of 'Eclipse' after watching 'New Moon'... And finally the wait is over...

As usual, the third installment is more towards romance rather than action pack... Not surprising at all... I find the romance part quite boring in fact and the action part too short and the villains die to easily... Nevertheless I still prefer it over the two previous movies... I don't have to recommend this because I believe there are a lot of die hard 'Stephenie Meyer' fans out there!!! Guess is time for me to start reading 'Eclipse' story book!!!

Korea Day 6 (Chinese Buffet Lunch)

We had buffet lunch on day 6 as well... But this time it was a bit different because this time was Chinese buffet according to our tour guide... All of us were really excited because we had not eaten Chinese food for the pass 5 days...

Once again to our disappointment the Chinese buffet was not something we had imagined... Far from it in fact... Just look at the picture and you will know why... Sushi in a Chinese restaurant??? Again we left disappointed!!!

Genting TOUGE style!!!

Recently I took my Gen2 out for a spin and to the mountain we go!!! I believe Genting is the best place to test my car and also my ability... Besides that, Genting is really near to my place...

I'd change my brake hose to a steel braided type and I don't really have the time to test it out... So this trip up Genting is the perfect time for me to test it out...

Frankly speaking I'm really amazed at the handling of my Gen2... Very neutral handling with minimal understeer... Push it really hard and the tail will step out a bit in order to tighten the line... No snap oversteer as well unlike my previous Kelisa which will oversteeer in a blink of an eye when you're not gentle with the throttle... Really remarkable... Besides that, the whole car felt really agile...

So how does the steel braided hose fare??? Awesome!!! No more mushy brake pedal!!! Firm pedal is the order of the day no matter how hard I stomp on the brake pedal!!! Overall I'm really satisfied with it... Coupled the steel braided hose + R3 slotted disc brake together with R3 lowering spring and GAB absorber = DAMN NICE HANDLING!!! (Curse all the speed hump when coming down from Genting!!! Really hard to drive smoothly with all the bumps around!!!)

If you're a speed junkie like me, I highly recommend this to you... You will be amaze at how awesome it is...

Lou Wong 'Nga Choi Gai' @ Ipoh

This was our last stop during our Penang road trip... I'd been to 'Lou Wong' a couple of times already and yet I just can't get enough of it!!! So as usual, a stop at 'Lou Wong' was considered as mandatory whenever we went to Ipoh or Penang...

When we reached there, the shop was packed to the brim... We waited for around 5 minutes for seats and it was raining very heavily at that time!!! What really surprised me was how fast they managed to serve customers... Once seated it took around 5 minutes for our food to arrive!!! Really fast in my opinion and that's a '+' point from me...

As usual, both of us opted for 'hor fun'... The soup was really sweet and I love it but not my darling... According to her, the soup was way to sweet and she suspected a lot of MSG was being used for the soup...

Here comes the main dish... But sadly speaking, the chicken was nothing to shout about... Nothing special except for the gravy which was heavenly!!! Without the gravy, I bet you won't eat the chicken at all... The chicken was not tender nor juicy... Instead it looks and feels overcooked... Definitely not the chicken that I'm expecting... If my memory served me right, they served much better chicken last time...

I can find chicken way better than this easily... Really disappointed!!!

The bean sprout or 'nga choi' which I considered as a main dish as well... If it was not a main dish then why do we called it 'nga choi gai'???

If you asked me, I would preferred the meat/pork balls over fish balls... The meat/pork balls was so much nicer...

Another disappointing dish in my opinion... The chicken knuckle was really tasteless... Not recommended unless you're a die hard chicken knuckle fans!!!

1 bowl of 'hor fun' was definitely not enough... So another bowl of rice was the answer...

Besides that, we ordered more chicken as well... Guessed we were really hungry!!!

We were really disappointed with the chicken... Frankly speaking, I don't think I will be returning in the near future... Maybe I will try out 'Onn Kee' which is better according to a lot of people...
