I wanted to update this post for a very long time but don't know why I just keep on delaying this post... Been to this restaurant a few months back... So by right I should update this a few months earlier!!! Restaurant SY is one of the newest restaurant in Batu Pahat and I've heard some good review on one of their specialty and decided to check it out... Their specialty is call 'Over Bridge Pork Ribs'...

I don't know what to call this... But I didn't try it out because I hate starchy food!!! But according to my darling, this dish is not bad at all...

One of their specialty and the main reason I'm there... 'Over Bridge Pork Ribs'... The gravy is kinda special... Some curry and buttery taste in it and not forgetting a bit spicy... I find it OK only... Nothing to shout about... So actually I'm a bit disappointed in it... But the meat itself is nicely cook and the presentation of the food is worth mentioning...

One of their specialty as well... Tofu with some mince vege in it... Quite nice...

Very normal fried chicken...

Fried brinjal top with pork floss... I like this dish the most...

'Seoraksan' also known as 'Mount Sorak' is the highest mountain in the 'Taebaek' mountain range in 'Gangwon' province in South Korea... It is located in a national park near the city of 'Sokcho'... After the 'Hallasan' volcano oo Jeju Island (we miss this because of the weather) and 'Jirisan' in the south, 'Mount Sorak' is the third highest mountain in South Korea... The 'Taebaek' mountain chain is often considered the backbone of Korean Peninsular...

I've heard a lot of people saying that 'Mount Sorak' is a very good place for landscape photography and I'm really excited and really looking forward to visit 'Mount Sorak'... Now here comes my problem... We reach 'Mount Sorak' really late that day... I guess we are the only tourists going into the national park while all the other tourists are on their way out... I didn't know that we need to walk all the way in and it took us almost close to 15-20 minutes just to reach the main entrance and to make matter worse, I didn't bring my flash gun along and it is getting dark real quick...

A massive bear statue that greet us once we reach the main entrance...

Walk further in and you will be greeted by a giant statue... This statue is call the 'Bronze Buddha of Sinheungsa'... As we are really rushing for time, we didn't stay too long... Just snap a few photos and continue to walk to our next destination...

Our last destination of the day... A temple... But I don't really know what temple it is...

We really miss out a lot of other attractions in 'Mount Sorak'!!! But we didn't blame anyone... Guess is just our luck...

Today marks a very special day in my calender... 18th of March 2007 is the day both me and my darling got engaged... So obviously we went out for dinner tonight... Time flies!!! In a blink of an eye, we are actually engage for 3 years...

Nothing fancy just a simple dinner and we decided to go somewhere near and less traffic... Desa Parkcity becomes the obvious venue... We walked around and decided to have Japanese food... We eaten Rakuzen before but not in Desa Parkcity...

My darling's udon set...

California roll that comes together with my darling's udon set... The set cost RM38... I find the price acceptable because the portion is quite big...

This is mine... Unagi set... RM38 also...

Since both of us are super duper full, we didn't order any dessert...

HAPPY 3 YEARS ANNIVERSARY TO BOTH OF US!!!

Day 4 marks the half way mark of our Korea tour... Next destination... 'Jeongdongjin Train Station'... Don't underestimate this particular train station because it is listed in 'The Guinness Book of World Record' for being the closest train station to the sea... But too bad we didn't really go to the train station instead we all 'lepak' around the beach...

'Jeongdongjin Beach' is famous for sunrise and also famous amongst lover where they go there for 'pak toh'!!!

Nothing special about the beach... The sand is rather coarse...

I know is a bit late to blog about this movie... But I believe 'LATER' rather than 'NEVER'... So what do I think about this movie??? Quite nice and actually I did enjoy myself watching this movie... The reason for this is because I really like movies about 'Greek Mythology'... I don't know why but I just find it fascinating!!!

If you are a teenagers (I'm NOT saying that I'm still a teenager!!!) and really like 'Harry Potter', I'm sure that you will find this movie to your liking... The plot is almost the same is just that this movie talks about 'Greek Mythology' as oppose to 'Witch Craft' in Harry Potter... Other than that, I got nothing else to comment on this movie... Not a bad movie but definitely not the best...

Lately I've been kinda busy with my work so I really neglected my blog... Looks like it is semi-dead now!!! Actually besides work, I've been pretty occupied by one particular thing which is call 'GAME'!!!

I've been playing this game call 'Dragon Age - Origins' for around a week and I can tell you that this is one of the BEST RPG game ever!!! I'm a BIG fan of RPG game all thanks to Diablo... Frankly speaking, I've been really tired of waiting for Diablo III... Don't know what took them so long!!! If you are a RPG fan like I do, faster grab yourself a copy of 'Dragon Age - Origins' and I can guarantee you that you won't be disappointed... Awesome graphics with even more awesome storyline!!!

Will try to update my Korea trip ASAP but the though of killing all the monsters in 'Dragon Age - Origins' actually making me think twice!!! The force is too hard to resist!!!

Lunch time again!!! Anything special for today, I ask our tour guide... She told us that we are having something really special for today......

Lunch time again!!! Anything special for today, I ask our tour guide... She told us that we are having something really special for today... Something you cannot find in Malaysia... She told us that we are having 'Dumpling Steamboat' for lunch...

We told her that we have 'dumpling' in Malaysia as well and she said that it is different because 'dumpling' in Korea is really BIG unlike those in Malaysia... So we are really anxious to see how big the 'dumpling's' are...

Wow... That is a REALLY BIGGGGGGG 'dumpling'!!!! (sarcastically)... I'm very sure that the 'dumpling' in Malaysia is way much bigger compare to those in Korea!!! I guess out tour guide mistaken 'wanton' as 'dumpling'!!! So that explain why she said the 'dumpling' is bigger... No doubt that the 'dumpling' is a bit bigger compare to our 'wanton' but way smaller if compare to our 'dumpling'...

As for the taste... Nothing to shout about I must say... The filling is not to my taste... That's all I can comment!!! Arhhhh another disappointing lunch!!!

Left around 4 hours for us to ski after coming down from 'Dragon Peak'... And before doing that, we need to go through the procedure of measuring our feet in order to get the correct size for the ski boot... After that, we still need to learn how to ski... There is a ski instructor specifically for our tour so it is easier in order for us to learn as all of us are newbie in skiing...

The instructor teaches us the basic of skiing... In my opinion, the most important thing is to learn how to stop!!! Some of our tour mate couldn't stop in time and they uses other skier as their brake... Meaning they knock into other skiers!!! This is really dangerous in my opinion...

In order to master skiing, one need to have really good body balance... I guess mountain biking, inline skating and skateboarding really helps here as I don't have any problem balancing myself...

I really hate to put these pictures of me!!! I look so UGLY + FAT and not forgetting SHORT!!!

By looking at my darling's face and you will know that we really enjoy ourselves!!!
