Since I've never eaten 'Bubba Gump' before, I decided to try it out on my Birthday itself... As usual mix review on this... Some say that it is nice while others say the opposite... So, is my chance to give my very own rating now!!!

Hmmm, looks really familiar... Arhhh... Forrest Gump!!!

Notice the blue 'Run Forrest Run' and the red 'Stop Forrest Stop' metal plate??? I find this really interesting... Whenever you decided to order or call any of the waiter/waitress, just flip the metal plate to the red 'Stop Forrest Stop' and the waiter/waitress will attend to you... After that, just flip it back to the blue 'Run Forrest Run'...




This drink is call 'Run Forrest Run'... I don't know how to describe the taste because there are a lot of ingredients inside... The most prominent taste is banana... Quite nice and something special... Rm11.90 for this...


'Mango Sparkler' is the name for this drink... I'm very sure most of you will think that this is a mango drink... You are only partially right... It contains a lot more ingredients inside but I can't remember the others except orange... Very refreshing!!! I like it a lot... RM11.90 also...



'Shrimpim Dippin Broth'... What a nice name but unfortunately the taste is only so so... I like it better with the bread... RM35.90 for this...


This is mine... Burger AGAIN!!! This burger is call 'Sweet Home BBQ Burgers'... A very nice name as well... I find the burger quite nice but a bit bland for my liking... I prefer my beef patty to be a bit salty... But the meat is tender and juicy which is a '+' point for me...

Besides the burger, I find that the fries is really really nice... Even my darling like it as well... Double '+' for me!!! RM22.90 for this set...



I've heard a lot of peoples saying that the portion for 'Bubba Gump' is really huge but I find it so so only... If you compare it to 'Chilis', I don't think the portion is BIG... (Or maybe I'm a BIG eater???)... So overall I find it quite nice but I'm really disappointed in 'Shrimpin Dippin Broth'...

11th April 2010... My Birthday and I don't have any plans for the day so we decided to just enjoy ourselves to some nice coffee... So my darling's brother recommended Rocket United... This is the second time I'd been to this restaurant/cafe...

So anybody knows why we love this restaurant/cafe??? The reason is because of the coffee or more appropriately the name of the coffee... For instant, the coffee above is name under our hometown which is 'Batu Pahat' and it definitely tasted like the one sold in Batu Pahat... RM4.00 for this...

This is the ice version of 'Batu Pahat' coffee order by my darling's brother... RM4.00...

And this is mine which is call 'House Special Lemonade'... Why I order lemonade instead of coffee... The reason is very simple... I don't drink coffee!!!

So anything special about the lemonade... Oh yes!!! Really special indeed... The first thing that caught my eyes is the colour of the drink... White colour lemonade anyone??? The moment you start drinking, the answer will unfold itself... They added condensed milk into the lemonade!!! I really salute them for even thinking about this and making it possible... I really like the drink... It is refreshing and it tasted sweet and in the meantime sour... A BIG thumbs up from me!!! RM4.50 for this...

I find this toast bread much better than 'Bandar Lama' <---- 'OLD TOWN' for those that don't understand!!! RM3.50...

'Pong Teh Chicken'... According to my darling's younger brother, this dish is only so so... Nothing to shout about... RM9.90 F.O.C. a glass of barley...

'Nasi Lemak Sambal Sotong'... I find this dish quite nice especially the 'sotong'... RM8.90...

'Nasi Goreng Kampung Satay'... Looks nice but tasted only so so unfortunately... RM8.90 for this...

'Singapore Fried Bee Hoon'... Also so so only... Nothing to shout about... RM7.90 for this...

So as a conclusions, the drinks is nice but the food is only so so... If you like politics, I guess this is the place for you unless you are a hardcore 'XaXXsXX NXXiXXXl' supporter!!! But I don't really fancy politics and I find this place quite nice also... Is very quiet and is a good place for get around and even chit-chatting... Oh by the way, I forgot to mention that all the pictures you see here are taken by my darling's Lumix LX3!!!

Watched this movie a couple of weeks ago but recently I guessed I'd been bitten by the 'lazy bug'!!! As far as this movie concern, I heard a lot of mixed reviews as usual... Some said nice while some others totally hated it... I guessed I'm the one who fall into the 'LIKE' category...

As I mentioned previously in my other blog posting, I really liked movies regarding Greek mythology... Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, Medusa, Hades and etc... So automatically this movie falls into my 'MUST WATCH' list of movies...

Although this movie is available in 3D, I opt for the 2D version instead because a lot of people said that the 3D effect is really minimal... In my opinion, I find this movie quite entertaining and I will recommend this movie to those that like Greek mythology... No great, but at least it's not boring!!!

After Genting we went straight to Gohtong Jaya for dinner... Before that, I sensed that something is not right because I'm still very full and they insisted to go for dinner in Gohtong Jaya... So when we reached there, my brother-in-law said "wow such a coincidence" because my uncle and auntie + my cousins were all sitting in the restaurant already!!! Haha I knew it!!!

Stir fried mushrooms...

Pork... I like this dish a lot but not from this restaurant...

Frog... Ok only... Nothing to shout about...

Steam eggs...

Terrapin...

Wild boar... Also so so only...

Frankly speaking, all of us were really disappointed with the dishes... Not nice at all... Actually I'm really 'paiseh' because all of them drove all the way up to Gohtong Jaya but the dishes is not up to par... But anyway, thanks for the dinner my dear uncle...

I really like this cake... It is really nice... Very buttery and the apricot just add flavours to the cake... Really good cake in my opinion...

Woo luckily only ONE candle!!!
