Good news for those who wants to buy an iPhone but prefer not to crack it... Finally after such a long period iPhone 3G is now available via Maxis... I am not very sure about the plans they have but you can go to Maxis website... http://www.maxis.com.my/iphone/rateplan1.asp...

After using iPhone for more than a year, I highly recommend it because iPhone is really cool... You can customize everything according to your needs... Besides that, the iPhone community are really huge... Lots of third party programs/applications and games available for download or purchase... What you need to do is install iTunes... iTunes is the portal to your iPhone... You sync everything through iTunes... If you wanna purchase games or applications, you do it using iTunes as well... Is really convenient...

Before iPhone I used to prefer PDA, but sometimes PDA are really a pain in the arse... Sometimes they lag/hang/restart/hard reset on you... I speak from my experience... As for iPhone, none of the above mention happen... So for the time being you won't see me using PDA... What I can say is as long as iPhone is around I won't be using PDA... But there is one phone that I am really interested in... If it really make it into production, maybe it will be the phone that I will change to just to test it out... And the phone is "Google Phone"...

Took these pics this evening... I regretted for not bringing my tripod with me... It was really hard to shoot the fly without the tripod... Tried my very best to keep my hand as still as possible... But as you can see from the pics, I failed... The fly was just not sharp enough... Too bad... Maybe next time...

Konica Minolta 35mm - 75mm lens

Just got this lens recently... Actually I borrow the lens from my parents, but I declared it mine now... Haha... I recalled that my parents used to have a Konica Minolta camera at home... Last weekend I decided to searh for it and viola I found it... Thank god that the lens was still in one piece and no fungus to be found...

Luckily my parents decided to buy Konica Minolta rather than other brands that time... If they bought other brands, then I won't be able to use this lens now... The reason for this was because Sony bought over the camera division from Konica Minolta... So therefore, we Alphanians we able to use Konica Minolta lens on our beloved Alpha DSLR...

I am in a dilemma whether to use this lens more or my SAL1870 kit lens because my SAL1870 can cover a wider range compared to this Konica Minolta lens... The focal length for SAL1870 was 18mm - 70mm and the Konica Minolta was 35mm - 70mm... The SAL1870 can go wider but the Konica Minolta lens aperture can go higher /bigger... At 35mm, the maximum aperture for SAL1870 was F5.6 all the way to 70mm... But the Konica Minolta can go bigger... At 35mm, the maximum aperture was F3.5, 50mm at F4 and 70mm at F4.5...

So for the time being, will try out my new lens and see which one I prefer more...
