Bought a pack of Ikea's AA alkaline batteries for my external flash... I've heard a lot of people especially photographer giving really good review on the batteries... Most of them say that it outlast much more expensive batteries... Guess how much does it cost for 10 batteries??? Is only RM8.90!!! Can you believe it!!! RM8.90!!! OMG, this is just insane... SO CHEAP!!!
The reason I bought these batteries is because I'm going holiday and I need to have some spare batteries for my external flash unit... The rechargeable batteries that I've got won't last through the duration of my holiday... So the cheapest solution is to buy a pack of Ikea' batteries... Hopefully it won't let me down...

hehe, I have the same batts in my bag too. I keep it as spare for my flash or the emergency batt pack in my 5D MkII battery grip. So if the flash or camera run out of juice, I will always have these to fall back on.
I've been using these Ikea Alkalines for years, they're really good.
Oh I forgot to tell u to take a look at these rechargeable batts. Cheap n good at only rm47.

wow your 5DMKII battery grip can use AA batteries??? that's really nice... my battery grip cannot... too bad...

The Alkalines will last for about 200-300 shots in my 5D MkII BG. Very useful for emergencies. That's 1 thing the Sony grips don't have. U guys shud give feedback to Sony n ask them to implement that into the BGs. I was so pissed with the BG for my Sony A200 when I found that it didn't have the AA cartridge. :(
The ICIDU batteries are available at All IT n IT Hyperstore at The Curve. I've seen it at a few other PC stores too.
wah 200-300 shots is a lot... really useful when you really need it... yeah should ask sony to implement this... but the chances of sony implementing this is really slim i guess... they are too proud of their info lithium battery...
ok will check it out because nowadays seldom go to pc shop already... currently i'm using GP rechargeable batteries and the batteries discharge real fast when i'm not using...
I hope you got on ok with the Ikea cells. They came out well in independent lab tests done by BitBox, working out as the cheapest per Amp hour.
