Wow I almost can't recognize myself!!! I'm getting fatter and fatter... So finally, I decided to keep fit from now on... Actually I started my fitness regime almost 1 week ago... Nothing much just some normal rope skipping... I don't know why I just love skipping... If you let me choose between jogging and rope skipping, I will definitely choose the latter...

Rope skipping is a very good exercise... It can helps you to 'LOSE WEIGHT'!!! That's the most important part... Rope skipping is a very good calories burner... It is so effective in burning calories that an hour of skipping can burn up to 1000 calories... Besides that, it is proven that 45 minutes of hard running equals to 10 minutes of rope skipping... Can you imagine that...

Besides that, rope skipping is a very very cheap exercise... I got my skipping rope for a mere RM13.90... Other than that, you can virtually skip anywhere... You don't have to find a specific location for rope skipping... You can skip in your living room, dining room, bedroom, anywhere you can think of provided that the place is BIG enough!!!

I'm keeping my finger cross... Hopefully I can see some result from my new found exercise...

Notice anything wrong with the rice??? Actually there is nothing wrong with it... The only problem is the 'plate'... First time eating bah kut teh using plate... Call me old fashion but I prefer to eat it with a bowl and a pair of chopstick... The traditional way!!!

Dry bah kut teh... I've heard a lot of good review regarding this dry bah kut teh... But frankly speaking, I don't quite like it... But if you let me choose between the dry and the soup, I will definitely choose the dry one...

Soup bah kut teh... Only one word to describe it... 'HOPELESS'... I don't like the soup at all... It's tasteless... No herbal taste... Nothing!!!

Besides that, I still prefer 'teow chew' style soup over 'hokkien' style soup although I'm a 'hokkien'...

As for the vegetables, there is nothing to shout about...

Bah kut teh is really funny... No matter how good the taste of the soup is to person A does not mean that it is good for person B... There is no in between in my opinion... You either love it or hate it... Bah kut teh belongs to this category of food...

I know this shop is really really famous with all the newspaper cutting sticking on the wall, but the soup bah kut teh is not for me... I can still accept the dry bah kut teh but I just won't drive all the way there just to have it...

Is all down to individual preference for bah kut teh and this shop is definitely not for me... Weird isn't it...

'Happy Birthday To My Dearest Darling'

14 September... A day to remember... It's my darling's birthday... In the afternoon, my darling text me and told me that she can't make it for dinner because she needed to attend a night conference... I was a bit disappointed at first but what to do... Luckily in the evening time, she told me that she don't have to attend the conference and off we go for dinner...

Fitou is a Mediterranean cuisine cum wine shop... During dinner time, I saw a lot of customers were there just to have beer or wine while chit-chatting with their friends or partner...

Orangina!!! Whoa so long didn't drink already... I almost forgot how it tasted like... But a bit expensive at RM7.00 per bottle...

'Wild Mushroom Cappuccino Soup'... Not as good as Dome... Nothing to shout about... RM12.00 for the soup... I cannot remember how much Dome's wild mushroom soup cost... But I think it is more expensive compare to Fitou but I will definitely go for Dome's wild mushroom soup...

'Garlic Parsley Escargot'... The escargot is serve with bread... The taste of garlic and olive oil is enough to make this escargot special... RM22.00 for the escargot...

'Aglio Olio'... Also nothing to shout about... Tasted quite bland actually... Bacon is the only ingredient with some garlic and chili... D'Fortune's one tasted so much better!!! RM15.00 for this...

'Mountain Bacon Cheese Beef Burger'... At first bite, it was okay... But after a while it tasted more and more funny... Actually it was not the taste that tasted funny... It was the texture of the beef... I believe the cook put in too much starch thus making the beef really starchy!!! I guess the reason he/she added so much starch is because it was needed to hold the beef together... But in my opinion, it was just too much... RM19.00...

Dessert time!!!

'Creme Brulee'... Very nice dessert... RM12.00 in my opinion was acceptable...

'Chocolate Fondant'... This was one of the best dessert that I ever had... Really awesome... RM15.00 for this... Really worth it because it is really really good...

Just look at the chocolate flowing out from the fondant!!! The chocolate is hot and rich but not too sweet... Just to my liking...

The ambiance was really awesome... If you like quiet and nice scenery overlooking a man make pond then this is the place for you... But food wise I find it so so only...
