'Yongpyong Ski Resort' is situated at the center of Korea's 'Baekdudaegan Mountains' and is one of the most famous ski resort in Korea... One of the reason that made 'Yongpyong Ski Resort' famous is because of the hit drama 'Winter Sonata'... Some of the scenes were filmed in 'Yongpyong Ski Resort'...

Besides that, 'Yongpyong' is famous among the skiers because of the impressive 28 different ski slopes and 15 ski lifts that cater to all kind of skiers ranging from amateur to professional...


Night scene of 'Yongpyong Ski Resort'... Instead of skiing at night, we opt for snow sleds which are actually meant for small children!!!

The snow sleds is really fun when going down the slopes... It is really easy to master... The only thing that you need is some body balance and courage or BALLS for the guy!!! The snow sleds can go really really fast and sometimes it's really scary because there are a lot of other skiers around!!! Now comes to the bad part... You need to climb all the way up the hill after all the fun which last for less than 1 minute!!! It is really tiring!!!

I'm really curious about this machine and my tour guide told me that it is a snow making machine!!!

The day that I've been waiting for so long has finally arrive... 'SKI'!!! I've always wanted to try skiing... It is not something we Malaysian or people living near the equator have the privilege of doing during winter time...

Next destination ---> Ski equipment shop... Why do we need to go to ski equipment shop... The answer is really simple... To rent our ski equipment of course... Our tour package does not includes ski equipment, so we need to rent it...

Just look at all the colourful ski boots...

Wanted to try one of these!!! I always prefer snowboard more than ski because I used to play skateboard but too bad I didn't try it... Maybe next time...

Steamboat dinner AGAIN!!! Argh!!! I can't take it anymore... But our tour guide told us that the steamboat dinner is different because we are actually having FISH steamboat... So what is so special about this fish steamboat??? She told us that the fish is really famous in Korea and we must try it...



Looks like our 'Yu Tao Mai' aka 'Fish Head Noodle'... But the soup tasted totally different... Not that bad actually but definitely not great either... After a while we starts to search for the fish... Hmm how come there are no fish in our steamboat???

Ta-dah!!! Here's the fish... Wow that's really BIG in my opinion (sarcastically)...

Tell you the truth, I'm really disappointed with the fish... Totally tasteless and is rather hard... Our 'Yu Tao Mai' is sooooooo much nicer...

Besides the seaweed, this is the only side dish that I like... It is really nice...So guess what is this dish made of??? This is actually fish... Wow I really didn't know that fish can taste so nice...

'Legion'... Oh my god... This is one of the worse movie that I've watch this year... Hmm thinking back maybe I should include last year as well... Is really really bad... I don't understand what the movie is telling me... I've heard a lot of bad reviews from my friends and I must admit they are spot on... When I watched the trailer, I thought this is a good movie but I was soooooooooo wrong!!! Wasted my time and my $$$ on this movie...

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

This is where we have our lunch in Everland... 'Alpine Food Fair'... It is something like a food court... The cheapest food in Everland besides the snacks I guess...

There are a few choices of food in the 'Alpine Food Fair'... But mainly consists of rice or noodles...

I like their Fanta!!! Really nice... Not too sweet... In fact I like all the soft drinks sold outside of Malaysia... The reason for this is because all the drinks are not too sweet unlike those sold in Malaysia...

The food tasted quite nice... At least something different from BBQ or steamboat that I'm really scare of now...

Everland... The largest and one of the most famous outdoor theme park in Korea... Everland is located in Yongin, a city in Gyeonggi-do province... Everland is a large theme park comprises of a zoo, snow sled and botanical garden... Everland is a lot bigger if compare to Disneyland Hong Kong which is tiny in comparison...

We don't have the time to enjoy ourselves because you know what... We were given 4 and a half hours ONLY for Everland!!! The moment I heard our tour guide I was like 'WHAT'!!! Only 4 and a half hours... Haiz what to do...

Actually I find that there are a lot of similarities with Disneyland... The structure looks almost the same...

Crazy!!!

Everyday is a holiday at Everland!!!

We take the Skyline ride in order to get to the other section... There are a lot of sections and the place that we are going is much nearer using the ski lift lookalike... But the queue is so damn long!!!

We are so hungry and decided to buy some light snacks...

This is the place that we are going... A safari!!! A safari in a theme park... Hmm that's something new to me... Our tour guide insisted that we must go for the safari bus tour... She said this is one of the most worthy ride in Everland... The reason for this is because there is one very famous and unique animal living in the safari... The animal is call 'Liger' Why 'Liger'??? 'Li' is the short form for lion and 'Ger' is the short form for tiger... Get it!!! A cross breed between a lion and a tiger hence 'Liger'...

Just look at the damn queue!!! We queue for almost an hour in order to get on the safari bus...

Wow... This is a really unique fan... Instead of cooling us down like all the other fans, this fan is actually blowing out 'HOT' air in order to keep us warm!!!

All of us are cursing like hell because the ride is just not worth it!!! Waited for 1 hour and just to see some silly animals... Left around 2 and a half hours for us and the best part is we have not taken our lunch!!! (Lunch post will be posted in my next blog post)...

Merry-Go-Round... This is the ONLY ride that we actually rode which is also the only ride that do not need queuing...How pathetic!!! I'm blaming my super genius tour guide for this!!! If we have not wasted around 1 and a half hours on the safari, I'm really sure that we can enjoy a lot more rides...
