The Nicest Food That I Had In China...

I had the most satisfying and embarrassing dinner in China... It happen in Hangzhou... We were looking for this particular restaurant, called Chu Cai Kuan in Mandarin... It was recommended by a book that I bought... It was a traveling book published by Discovery Channel... The book showed us the places that we must visit and it even recommended places to look for fine food...

Since we were not familier with Hangzhou, it took us almost 1 hour looking for it... I guessed we walked more than 3-4km just to find this restaurant... During the searched, most of us decided to give up cause we were all very hungry... We used maps and even GPS and it took us liked forever to find this place... Finally thank goodness we managed to find it... Before we managed to enter the restuarant, a man came running towards us... He asked wheather we were going in the restaurant for dinner, and the answered was definitely yes!!! And to our surprised, he said he need to ask the chef not to go back home first... All of us were stunned...

We reach the restaurant around 9pm... Most people in China had early dinner... Most of them took their dinner around 6pm... We were very happy because the guy said it is ok for us to have dinner there... The staffs will stayed and prepared dinner for us... I heard people shouting because they were required to stay back and entertained us... We were ushered to a room... At first we were a bit skeptical because some of the restaurant in China required extra charge for VIP room... And by looking at the room design, we thought we needed to pay extra... But we don't cared cause we were all hungry like hell!!!

Although the staff there needed to stay back, none of them showed us faces... They served us nicely unlike other restaurant that we went...

This chicken soup tasted awesome... One of the nicest soup that I ever had... One of their specialty...

In my opinion, this is the best dish... Their specialty as well... When you place the pork in your mouth, the fat of the meat basically melted in your mouth... Just like M&M!!!

We were all stunned when we saw the bill... RMB180.00 only... There were 6 of us... This greatly satisfying dinner cost us RM90.00++ only... Only RM15.00 per pax... Where to find this kind of restaurant in Malaysia???


What I can said, this was by far the nicest restaurant that I ever had in China... Excellent food with really cheap price... Besides that, the services that the waiter and waitress provided were excellent too... Highly recommended!!! If you happen to be in Hangzhou make sure that you give this restaurant a try... You will definitely regret if you don't...
