If you still remember, a while ago I've posted a blog post called 'Stranded' and this blog post is something like a follow up... Although this happened a few months ago, only until recently my car is back to normal without any hiccup... Touch wood!!!

Let me refresh your mind if you can't remember or don't know what really happened that unfortunate day... I was left stranded on the 'North-South Highway' somewhere near 'Seremban'... My engine fan actually hit the radiator and causes a massive hole and the best part is I don't know when it actually happen... I didn't hear any sound (maybe because of me blasting my sound system???) nor feels anything wrong with my car until detonation occur... When I stop my car I can see that the temperature is sky high but I didn't get panic at the moment... The moment I got panic is when I open the bonnet... Water is everywhere... It even drips from the bonnet!!! The whole engine compartment is wet!!!

A quick check at the radiator and I know what actually happened... There's a BIG hole on the top left side of the radiator and besides that, I found the engine fan blade broke in several places... I can still use back the fan temporary but not the radiator... It need to be fix before I can put in anymore water...

Ok these pics show the aftermath of what happened that day... As you can clearly see the whole engine compartment is in a mess... Rusty water all over the engine bay...

Is a bit hard to see the broken fan but it is broken in several places... At least 3 of the blades are broken...

Luckily I managed to get my radiator fix and got my car moving... But this was not the end of it... For the past few months, I've been having overheating problem with my car... Sent my car to a few workshop for diagnosis and change a few things but still I can't get it fix...

I've change my original fan to an electric fan not once but twice!!! The first one is not powerful enough to cool down the engine... There's no point changing back to the original one because this will surely happen again as the fan is very near to the radiator... Is just a matter or time... Electric fan solve my problem temporary but still I'm losing water... Between these few months, I've sent my radiator for repair at least 3 to 4 times because of leakage... In the meantime, I'm also searching for a new aluminium radiator for my 'FrankenBenz' and trust me, it is not an easy task (will blog about the aluminium radiator in my future blog post)... After changing to a new aluminium radiator, I'm still losing water... This time I know that the cost of repairing will be high... Since this is a new radiator, the chances of it leaking is really low... So I know that the water must be going through the gasket and this means that I got myself a blown head gasket... I know '1JZ-GTE' is one tough engine but this does not mean that it is indestructible!!! Blown head gasket rarely happen to '1JZ-GTE' because it comes with metal gasket... So I blame myself for this!!!

So what happens after changing a new head gasket??? Problem solve!!! No more overheating problem and I don't have to top up water everyday!!!

I promised my darling to cut down on fast food and damn it was hard... Luckily she didn't insist on 'NO FAST FOOD' policy because that will surely make my life miserable!!! I know too much fast food is definitely not good for health so I'm trying my best to get a compromise here...

In my opinion, I believe you can't categorize 'GCB' as unhealthy because of the way they cooked it... The chicken thigh is grilled and not fried and I'm sure that grilled is much better than fried!!! At least I don't feel sinful when taking a BIG bite out of it unlike 'Spicy Chicken McDeluxe'!!!

I still remember the first time 'McD' decided to launch the 'GCB' and frankly speaking I'm not a BIG fans of it... But I know a lot of people like it very much... I guessed people tend to change because the second time they launched it, I'm really loving it!!! But not as much as my all time favourite, the 'BIG Mac' and 'Spicy Chicken McDeluxe'... The impression this time is definitely much much better... No explanation for that!!!

I used to order large set everytime but nowadays medium will do just fine... The reason for this is not because I can't finish it... The main reason is to cut down on fries... I loved fries a lot and I know this is what makes you fat and my darling is complaining about the spare tyre that I got around my belly!!! So I got no other choice but to downsize the set... Another thing is changing normal 'Coke' to 'Coke Light/Diet Coke'... But recently I heard a lot of rumours regarding these calories free drinks... These drinks contain 'aspartame' and it is said to be harmful to human... Not sure how true is this but for the time being, I will still stick to 'Coke Light/Diet Coke' because I find normal 'Coke' way tooooooo sweet for me!!! Besides that, I'm trying to be vain as well... Keeping my belly in check!!!

A note for 'McD Malaysia'... Can you please reintroduce 'Chicken and Beef Foldover'??? I'm really craving for it!!! Besides that, my darling love it very much and it will definitely make my life easier... I hope you know what I mean!!! ;)

I pride myself to be a very loyal person... This does not only applies to those I love but things as well... If I like the particular brand...

I pride myself to be a very loyal person... This does not only applies to those I love but things as well... If I like the particular brand, I will stick to it... I will not change even when the products are inferior compare to others found on the market... Besides that, I will try to defend it if someone tries to talk bad about it... That's how far I will go when I'm in love with the brand!!!

Take 'Sony' for example... I like the brand a lot... So you can see that I'm using their DSLR... Same goes for my LCD TV and some other appliances... So those brand that I love, you are in luck!!! But there are times that I dislike the brand and this is really bad because once I dislike the brand, that's it... That's the end of our relationship... I'm those love it or hate it kind of guy... Seldom in between...

So looking at the title, I'm very sure you know what this blog post is all about... Yeap that's right... I'm boycotting a particular brand... Wanna know which brand and thing that I'm talking about??? It is non other than our beloved 'Pug'... I'm really sick of it... Please don't get me wrong... It is an awesome car but those in-charge of bringing in the car is the one to blame... If you follow my blog, you will know that our '308 Turbo' is giving us lots of problems (universally known that 308 Turbo have lots of problems)... The latest one is the canvas that cover the panoramic roof decides to play hide and seek with us... Disappearing for no reason... Ask the service center and they said the canvas 'koyak'!!! WTH...

Problems are frustrating but you know what beats it??? When there is no replacement parts in Malaysia!!! When there is something wrong with my 'Pug', the only thing that I hear coming out from the service center is "need to diagnose it first"... Ok, no problem with that... The next thing they said will be need to change certain part... Again no problem with that... The following thing that they said is the one I hated most... "No parts... Need to order from France and the waiting time will be no less than 3 weeks!!!"...

If you ask me, it just don't make any business sense... 'Nasim' which is a subsidiary of 'Naza' is selling 'Peugeot' like hot cakes now but what about after sales service??? None if you ask me... Everything also need to wait... I'm very sure they know about the common problems found on the 308 Turbo but why can't they just bring in some spare parts just in case??? Always asking the customers to wait is a BIG no no if you ask me and I know a lot of people are getting frustrated with 'Peugeot' now and 'Nasim' you better do something about it before you lose all your existing and potential customers... And you know what, if someone ask me whether is it wise to buy 'Peugeot', I will ask them to look away in order to avoid any hassle in the near future...

After using the 'Peugeot' for 2 years, I'm on the verge of giving up on the car... Again not because of the problems that it makes but the people in- charge of bringing in the cars that are to blame... Shame on you 'Nasim'...

p.s. I'm still waiting for my fucking turbocharger to arrive!!!

Change both front tyres recently due to one of it decided to be bloated!!! The tyre swollen to a state that it is almost impossible to drive as the car is virtually riding on pogo stick!!! Besides that, I'm really scare that the tyre might blow up... I have the privileged to encounter a blown tyre and I don't wish that to happen again...

The previous tyres are 235 series and I decided to change it to 225 series as it keeps scrubbing my fender... But sadly, 225 series can't eliminate this problem entirely... There is still some fender scrubbing but it is definitely not as bad as before... Some improvement I guess... Before this I'm on 'Goodyear' tyre and this time round I decided to try 'Dunlop'... The model of the tyre is 'Direzza DZ101' which is consider as a performance oriented tyre... I believe it is really important to get a better tyre rather than other things as tyres are the only contact you have on the road...

Just a few days ago my rear tyre decided to be bloated just like those on the front some time back!!! I still have around 70% of tread and again I'm force to change!!! Since I dislike mixing and matching different tyre manufacturer and model, my rear tyre is going to be 'Dunlop Direzza DZ101' as well... Besides that, I'm opting for a slimmer rear tyre as well... The previous one is 265 series and the new one is 255 series... I got better luck with the rear tyre as I didn't notice any scrubbing now... That's really good news to me...

I don't have the time to test out the new tyres yet but initial thoughts are the tyres are quieter compare to the previous one... Steering feel is also better... If the new tyres decide to be bloated again, I think I'm gonna downgrade it to 17" as the price of the tyres is really killing me!!! The cost of 4 tyres can almost get me another 'Toyota 1JZ-GTE' engine for my 'FrankenBenz'!!!
