Another movie based on fighting game??? Wow it seems that this is the 'IN' thing nowadays... If you read my previous post which was about 'Tekken' movie then I'm sure you know that I'm a fighting game fanatic... I just love these games... So naturally, 'King of Fighters' was definitely one of them...

But I'm very sad to say the truth here... 'King of Fighters' movie sucks BIG time unlike the game!!! One of the worst movie ever, period!!! The movie was so bad that I kept looking at my watch... The movie was not really long winded but I really wished to get out from the cinema as soon as possible... I just can't take it anymore... The storyline was really laughable and the fighting scene was really a shame... Talking about a movie based on 'FIGHTING GAME'!!!

Another problem that I found when I watched the movie was the character... None of the characters were wearing their outfit that made them so famous... At least 'Tekken' took the effort to design the outfit as close to the game as possible... Besides that, I think the casting was terrible as well... 'Maggie Q' as 'Mai Shiranui'??? You must be kidding me... I don't have anything against 'Maggie Q'... Just that I believe she don't have the 'ASSET' to play 'Mai' and we all know that 'Kyo Kusanagi' is not a Caucasian!!! That is the fact!!! Come on do some research!!!

This is what 'Mai Shiranui' looks like in the game... Just look at the outfit and her boobies!!!

I think this lady here will make a better 'Mai'!!! At least the costume is spot on...

'Iori Yagami'... My favourite character in 'King of Fighters'... The outfit was totally out in the movie... Very very wrong indeed...

And lastly, 'Kyo Kusanagi'... A Caucasian playing this character is a joke!!!

In my opinion, please don't watch this movie... I'm begging you... It is really really bad!!! Don't even try to download it... Save your harddisk space as well... If you really wish to burn your $$$ on this movie, you might as well burn it with a lighter!!!

My darling's family actually recommended this place because they said that the way they cooked the crab was really nice... So off we go for dinner...

Actually I've been to this restaurant a couple of times but we never ordered crab before as my family members were all lazy when it comes to eating crab!!! They don't really fancy eating crab either...

Wow I didn't know business like this even existed!!! I guess a lot of people really envy the staff in this restaurant because they don't have to clean up all the plates after every meal...

This was my first time eating 'salty crab'... I really like the way they cooked the crab... They applied a lot of salt onto the crab and BBQ the crab until all the salt melted and sticks to the shell... As for the meat, it was really juicy and tender while retaining its original sweetness... Really awesome!!! But be warned because the crab was really SALTY!!! The way I like it... :)

Ice 'chee cheong fun'??? Just joking... Wet towel for us to wipe our hands after getting it dirty with the crab...

All the other dishes were quite nice as well as you expect from a decent restaurant... So I won't talked much about it... Just remember to order the 'salty crab' when you are going to dine at this restaurant...

'Tekken' one of my all time favourite fighting game besides 'Street Fighter' and 'King of Fighter'... I used to play this game during my schooling days... Those were the days...

So finally someone decided to make a movie based on the famous game... This was definitely not the first time someone decided to film a movie based on fighting game... 'Street Fighter' did it a long time ago...

If you asked me what I think about this movie, I can only say so so... But I don't really blame those involved in making this movie because as far as story line goes, there was really nothing special about it... Nothing but fighting!!! But at least I still find it quite entertaining seeing some of the characters being brought to life... I really wished they included some combos during the fight scenes because that was what makes 'Tekken' game famous... But too bad I guessed that's something really hard to achieve unless they relied heavily on CGI...

Lately I've been bitten by a 'lazybug'!!! So I'm a bit lazy to update my blog... So I will just post some pictures about my progress in 'Car Town'... My garage complete with a drag strip and dyno!!!
